Lessons with grandpa

Whenever we visit with the paternal grandparents, the kids love to play the piano with them or just by themselves. I love these times and would love to have a piano to teach my kids to play. I hope I’ll be able to afford at least two form of music lessons for them. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the piano and guitar but didn’t have the opportunity and so I hope my children will get that.

I've been meaning to head over and visit for some time now..............sorry for the long delay.

I want my girls to take piano, too. But, we don't have a piano.

The picture of your son and his grandpa is beautiful!

That's a beautiful photo - says so much about exactly that - having fun with grandpa.

He looks like he is having a good time. I never got lessons either and always wanted to learn the piano. I hope that my boys will take interest and learn some type of music.

How sweet is that photo? What wonderful memories to preserve... I always wanted to learn piano or guitar - my hubby can pick up any instrument and play like he's been doing it for years...hopefully Princess Nagger will be as talented! :)

Happy WW! :)

Looks like grandpa is setting an excellent example. My mom is an organist and the kids like to watch her play and try to play along.

What a priceless memory for everyone. I have such a great respect for elders and all they have to offer us.

That is so wonderful! I think my parents were hoping my grandma (also a piano player) would rub off on me, but no luck, even after a tortuous year of lessons.

Unbelievably precious photo. A memory for a lifetime. I always wanted to learn to play piano and only play a tiny bit. I have made it part of our homeschool curriculum so my kids would have it. I do play guitar. It's NOT nearly as hard as the piano to learn to do basic rhythms and chords. Don't give up! Get someone you know who plays to teach you!!!

What a great photo. I love to see pictures of different generations of family together. Reminds us of what is really important in life.I too hope my children get to learn to play a musical instrument someday.
