Congratulations Emily B and thanks for visiting with me and I've sent you an email.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my country someone might say to you. "Gal you foot dem white eeh, go put sum lotion pon ih quick!"
They are basically telling you that you skin needs moisturizer because it looks ashy and I've been on the receiving end of such an admonishment. I have very dry skin and often my feet, knees and elbows will look very ashy, so I ensure to get some moisture on.
However I don't want skin care that stop working in the next ten minutes. I want something that is good for my whole body and that really works in making my skin better.

This is where Skin Free comes in.

Skin Free sent me the Whipped Tamanu Body Butter, LiteMoisture for Blemish Prone Skin and their Extra moisturizing Soap bar to review and I must say that I hope to get some more of these products for myself and my family. These are really good products and I believe they are so much better for not having all the toxins in them that all the other brands on the market use in their skin care products.

I've been using them for awhile now and I can see a few differences in my skin. Especially my face. I used to hate feeling how tight my face get after washing (and with baby wash at that), and wanted to buy a face moisturizer but wasn't sure which would be right for me so I just used regular lotion. The LiteMoisture for Blemish Prone Skin is a perfect starting off product for me!
I want to continue using these products to see the long term results, which I think can only be very good.

Here are some information on the products I received from the skinfree website.

The Polynesians discovered the healing and protective properties of Tamanu oil centuries ago. When the French arrived in Polynesia, they were fascinated by the islanders use of this oil for everything from minor skin abrasions to severe sunburn, and major skin infections.

French scientists discovered the oil contains a unique fatty acid that stimulates skin growth. Tamanu also possesses antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

We have combined the delicious Tamanu oil with Organic Extra Virgin Olive and rich Shea to make a remarkable whipped body butter to help sun-damaged skin, eczema, psoriasis, and reduce scarring.

We stress the need to keep all skin moisturized in order to keep it healthy. This also applies to blemish prone skin.

We created the Skin Free Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin formulation specifically for this purpose.

Drying out blemish prone skin can overstimulate the natural oil producing cycle, contributing to breakouts. You want skin not too dry and not too oily. We added healing Organic Niaouli essential oil to our favorite combination of Soothing Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and hypoallergenic Macadamia Nut Oil to replenish the much needed moisture balance for blemish prone skin.

Use just a small amount after cleansing skin to keep the oil cycle balanced.

Extra moisturizing Soap bar:

Our soap is like no others. It’s rich, creamy lather makes your skin feel rejuvenated and fresh. Most commercially available “soaps” are actually detergents. They remove skin oils and break down the protective barrier that helps skin healthy. Removing skin oils causes itching and can contribute to cracking and infection of delicate skin.

We “superfat” our soap with extra virgin olive oil, which contains natural anti-inflammatory agents, anti-oxidants, and natural vitamins that aid in healing and soothing your skin. Naturally moisturizing shea and cocoa butters are added to reduce the tight, dry feeling normally experienced when using typical commercial soaps. The lack of chemical preservatives, fragrance, or colorants in this soap makes it ideal for individuals of any age, especially the very old and the very young, those with allergies, dermatitis, sensitive, or very dry skin.
