Monday Mingle: Moi - Accent and nerves
Jennifer from EightyMPHMom has invited me to participate in her fun Monday Mingle meme. This is where you just do a video of you talking about anything or nothing. It's just to introduce the voice/face behind the blog and meet others etc. Just make it fun , sweet and short...right Jen?
Since I would need a prompter to make sense I just basically showed me face and ran away. Now don't go laughing at me. I already know I have a child's voice (good for prank calls) and I should have done something better with my webcam recording but have patience with me, this is my first time :)

Hi Callie, You are brave! That's a great idea - and your accent is lovely! I had expected to hear a Jamaican twang in there somewhere - assuming the 'Jam' relates to Jamaica...? (Have I assumed wrongly?) British people of Jamaican origin always seem to retain something of the homeland accent and I love its richness. I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to do a video but well done on yours!

OK...you are so adorable and I could not help but smile with you while watching your vlog. You'll have to keep us posted on potty training. I have a little boy and we're not quite ready for that over here but I love hearing what works and what doesn't work for other people so I can make mental notes. :)

It's definitely true that all kids are different when it comes to potty training... Seems like each kid took longer to train, but I think it's partly laziness on my part too. LOL!
