Tuesday:

I looked up libraries online and put the closest address in my GPS and went to get lost. :) Yes, despite having a GPS, I still get lost. I don't like getting lost, I freak out, but then I also learn a bit about my surroundings. The husband thinks that I should go drive around and get lost and learn to find my way around and I'll get more comfortable in going places. Easy for him to say! I do not want to get lost with two babies in my truck! And it's so bad that I can get lost in a parking lot! *Now seriously, how many times did I say get lost?* LoL

So anyway I found a library very close to me. I walked in and smelled 'library'. Just as I smelled it as a kid. Same excitement to join, wanting to devour all the books, wanting to take them all home, wanting to stay for hours and hours and unending.

The kids were excited too! We got five books which they picked! and a few DVDs like : The Little Mermaid, The Beauty and the Beast and Cat In The HAT :) I love anything Dr Seuss and I'm glad my kids seem to love the books too.

Now I have a library card and I feel so excited. I want to giggle.

I just need to remember the separate time frames to return the books and DVDs.

I've been wanting to do this for a few years now!

The kids can't get enough of this reading. I love that. This was also their first time hearing the humpty dumpty story! Now my son recites it! :)

I must get something for me next time! I can't wait! *giggle*

I love going to the library too, I just don't go often enough.
Laufa, October 12, 2009 6:22 AM: Look online, to see if your library does online requesting. I request books online, that way when my kids are with me, I just pick up mine and spend the rest of the time helping my kids.
Nina, October 12, 2009 12:00 PM: I love, love, love my library. I use it often for both me and the kids. I do have an issue with returning on time so they do get a nice chunk of change from me here and their. Someday I will learn!
