Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) Restraint System

You'll remember my post about supporting The NHTSA's Child Passenger Safety. It is good to know how to keep our families safe, especially in today's world where everyone is so distracted. I hope you will all recheck to ensure that your children are safe in their seats when driving.

According to a NHTSA study, 3 out of 4 kids are not as secure in the car as they should be because their car seats are not being used correctly. The LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) was developed to make it easier to correctly install car seats.

The NHTSA would like readers to know that there are wonderful resources
available for free to help them make safe choices about car seats and
to help them use their car seats properly for maximum safety.
