2. Does your spouse do any of the cooking? Is he/she a good cook? Be honest...
3. Do you speak any foreign languages fluently? What (if any) foreign language did you take in school?
4. What are your best budgeting/saving money tips?
5. What are a few of your worst habits?

Next week's questions and ideas:

1. Talk about a breast cancer awareness program and post a link to that site. You can wear pink if you'd like, or do something else for Breast Cancer awareness (this whole step should be simple).

2. What is the closest you have come to meeting a celebrity? Or have you ever met a celebrity? (this can be ANY celebrity- famous author/singer/actor/even blogger LOL) - thanks Annie for this question!

3. Would you rather lick a grocery cart handle or lick a bus stop bench?

4. Do you like to sing?  Are you a good singer? What would Simon Cowell say about your singing? Feel free to sing a short song if you want.

5. Make up a limerick about Monday Mingle!  (you know - limericks?  "There once was a man from Nantucket....")

NOTE: If you didn't do you animal sound this week - please do it on this mingle (thanks Erin for requesting animal sounds LOL)

  1. I loved seeing your daughter - what a cutie!

I see you tried Motionbox too - pretty neat huh? I am happy with it.

Your money saving tips are is your "Who Let the Dogs out"...had to chuckle at that.

That sounds like a horrible experience in the hospital - and for such a long poor thing. I'm glad it all turned out okay.

    Thanks for mingling!

  2. She totally stole the show! I watched it after it was done and couldn't help laughing at her antics :)

I wondered about this new video thing you used and went for it, plus vimeo was messing up the past few times and I had to resort back to youtube.

Thank you lol - the Baha men thing was all I could come up with! My kids love when I do it!

It was a really bad time in the hospital then. I ask the dh if I was going to die. Scary. Scary.

    Thanks for visiting love. *HUGS*

  3. Callie
Your daughter is adorable, how she stole the show! What a sweet pea!

I am so sorry you are not feeling well, you are surrounded with hugs and prayers.

Okay, I almost choked on my coffee when you suddenly yelped out "Who Let The Dogs Out!" (laughing- too too funny!!) You did that so well!! ;)

I am so sorry about the time you had in the hospital, scary stuff is right. But here you are! Wonderful and Fabulous! :)

I was unable to vlog this week. :(
Thank you so much for the shout out above your vlog today - the Take the Pledge against driving while distracted is just so important!! You RAWK.

Feel better my friend (hugs) and thank you, as always, for the smiles and the giggles. You always brighten my day!

  4. Oh my word, when you broke out in song I laughed so hard!!! I'm so glad that you had a cohost today, she's beautiful (just like you!)

  5. Your cohost is darling!!

And I seriously about spit my coffee out when you busted out the Who Let the Dogs Out. ROFL I love ya!

  6. Good luck with the spanish! I tried to learn but language is not my thing.....

I had a C-Section too but I didn't have the reaction you did, praise the Lord you were ok! That is certainly a testimony of God's goodness isn't it?

I am a total sales shopper too! And not shopping is a way to save money too :) I keep myself from spending money by not shopping too lol

"I'm awesome!" I love that :) This was a very funny vlog, I loved watching it!

I loved that "who let the dogs out?" that was so funny! You are so funny

Yes, your daughter is too darling - she did steal the show as you said!

  7. I'm sorry to hear that you had such a horrible hospital experience! I went through that also -- two different times stuck in the hospital for a month each time, almost died. I dread hospitals --sigh.

    Your little girl is adorable!!!

  8. Who let the dogs out was hilarious!

I'd love to hear some Patois!

Your daughter is such a sweetheart. :)

  9. You and your daughter = dynamically gorgeous duo!

  10. aww your daughter is cute. :D

    and great mingle.

  11. blueviolet

I swear if I talk Patois on video it would sound totally weird! lol It helps if I'm talking to someone. Thats why dh only hears it when my mom calls :)

Thank you. She is a little spitfire this girl I have here.

  12. Marie:

Oh my! I'm so glad you came through! I too dread hospitals, needles even worse! I want to have another baby, but I dont' want a repeat of #1 you know, so I keep thinking that maybe I should excercise and get really healthy before going that route again.

  13. Your daughter is ADORABLE!
What a horrible experience in the hospital! Glad you are ok now! Was it much easier with your daughter?
My DH CAN cook, but he doesn't do it often. Too bad, cause he's a wonderful cook!

  14. The Jacobsen Family

She is a treat and goodness, she is a handful too! Ahh but it is a wonderful package :)

I couldn't help but laugh at her antics while watching the video afterwards!

With my first (when I was sick in the hosp.) I didn't go into labor naturally, they gave me pitocin. I labored for a bit and then it was rushed emergency c-section. NOT GOOD.

However with my daughter I insisted that I would give birth naturally and without drugs and also vaginally and not a repeat c-section. My doctor insisted that it would be a c-section. haha. I prayed about it. The night I went into labor, well it seems I was in labor all day and just didn't know it. I showed up at the hospital after I couldn't breathe anymore and I was 7cm! Anyway, turns out my doctor wasn't there or even close by. So I delivered vaginally :) It was much easier with the girl. It was live action. And quick recovery and I think I left the hospital the next day! :)

My doctor kept telling me all the things that could go wrong and why he wouldn't allow me to and blah blah blah and every time I'd feel to worry, I just prayed.

I hope the next child will be like her.

Does your dh cook on special days?

  15. Annie:

I have to learn Spanish fluently. It would be nice to move to Spain or some Spanish speaking country for at least a year :) but then I can dream can't I? :)

It definitely was the hands of God and answered prayers that i came through being sick after my delivery. Especially that they did not find out what was wrong with me to be so deathly sick.

I can't believe I said I'm awesome in a video. That thought never even enter my head in a blog. I must definitely be foggy brained with this flu! :)

Oh or these bloggy friends are just good for my soul :)

My daughter, she is a sweetie. Gosh I wanna go wake her up and smooch her! :)

    Thank you Annie :)

  16. Erin:

Well surprise is the best element to cloak my inability to imitate any animals right. lol

Yes I do agree my co host is a sweetie :)

  17. Oh Christine darling. I just love reading your comments! :)

She definitely stole the show. If you visit, you'd be amazed at the show these two little sweeties will put on for you!

Thank you for the sweet hugs and prayers. I think it's the sudden change in weather that brought on the sickies for baby girl and me. Once it was mid 80s in the day and 70s at night. Then bam it was low 60s in the day and low 40s at night! It was such a sudden switch in the past days. I guess I need to watch the weather channel more :)

LOL I'm glad you didn't spill your coffee. I think it's my attempt to cover the fact that I can't imitate animal sounds too well *giggle*

I missed your sweet face/voice vlogging. I hope to see you again soon and I'm coming to visit.

Squishy hugs to you and enjoy today

  18. Oh Callie, and here I thought you were always so quiet and reserved. LOL :) Your daughter is a cutie!

  19. You two are so gorgeous! Your daughter is so sweet, and I love her little interactions with the camera.

I had a c-section too, and it was pretty scary, but I lived.

How great that you're teaching them Spanish!

  20. Your daughter is such a cutie, I loved the way she interacted with the camera too!

Scary about the C-section and the hospital stay after. Glad it all turned out o.k.

Who let the dogs out was the best! I too, just about spit my coffee out! LOL

It was nice to "meet" you too, I also have seen you around on other blogs, and didn't Jennifer do a super nice write up on you?!
