My Question:
Do you use a bookmark when reading or do you just crease the page to mark your spot?

I will hurt you if you hurt the book. That is all.
Ok. Seriously I rather use anything as a bookmark than crease a page.
Have a wonderful weekend! Aloha!

Very RARELY do I put the tinyest crease on the page! I use a book mark...but...if..there is something I absoultely MUST remember...lol.. I put just a wee crease in the corner. lol
ReplyDelete*ducking* sorry! lol
use something for a bookmark! I can not STAND it when someone messes the page up!
ReplyDeleteI find something to use for a book mark whether it's a scrap piece of paper or something else.
ReplyDeleteI use a scrap piece of paper or whatever I can find as a book mark.
ReplyDeleteI use a bookmark but by bookmark I really do mean anything - scrap paper, tissue, or real bookmark. The sad thing is I have a ton of bookmarks but they never seem to be near the books I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteBookmark, bookmark! Please don't hurt me because I don't hurt books! LOL. :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Aloha Friday on Saturday!
Sorry, I do crease the corners of my own books. If there is a passage I want to refer to, I've even been known to underline it...gasp!
ReplyDeleteI've been given some very nice bookmarks over the years, including an overpriced Coach one. I can't keep up with them though so I'm guilty of folding corners, even in library books. Go ahead and flog me!
ReplyDeleteI am a creaser! : ) I usually have a bookmark in the book somewhere but I still crease. Isn't that weird?
ReplyDeleteI use scraps of paper, those sticky tab things, or I just keep the book open on that page if I think I'll be coming right back to it (but I usually don't so there are a lot of open books and magazines in my house!).
ReplyDeleteIf it's a library book or someone else's book, I use something as a bookmark. Usually a post-in note. If it's my own book and it's a nice one, I'll use a bookmark or nothing, just find my place. If it's a cheap paperback novel, I'll go ahead and crease the page.
ReplyDeleteBooks are meant to be read and enjoyed, however that may be. :)
Definitely, a bookmark.
ReplyDeleteI definitely use a bookmark. No creasing here! lol
ReplyDeleteI use a bookmark.
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle so I use an electronic bookmark. :-)
ReplyDeleteI always use a bookmark-which is often just a scrap of paper or a card-although I do have some cute real book marks. But I can not stand to see a page damaged.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I also like lots of different kinds of music but check out In Christ Alone and Revelation Song if you have not heard them. THey are both worshipful and you will love them.
Blessings for a glorious Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I use a book mark. Usually just a piece of ripped off paper from something else.
ReplyDeleteI have a bad habit of curling the corner of the page while I read. Not good! It's a quirk I've had since I was little, though.
ReplyDeleteHappy SITS Sharefest!
I try to use a bookmark or any piece of paper that is handy, but if I'm in bed and there is nothing handy (because I always loose the bookmark) I will fold a little corner of the page.
ReplyDeleteBookmark! I've even gone on splurges to both buy and make many bookmarks at times to always have some handy.
ReplyDeleteYou crease my pages, I'll never loan you a book again.
And for my father-in-law? Don't you DARE write a frigging shopping list in one of our books ever again!!! EVER!!!! Am I perfectly clear on this???
book mark for me too I used to fold pages, crease edges then I was given a used book to read and someone did all that to the book have never done it again
ReplyDeleteBookmarks all the way! creasing the page is just mean. books give so much back
