WW: It's art and it's beautiful!

...braids, plaits. Darling , kissable little cheeks and little mouths.

Yes, after this wash comes the plaits. It's an interesting time and tomorrow we'll do this process all over again. Hmm.  Maybe I should bribe her for not crying? Naw. I'll let her bawl. I might just put in my ipod this time around. We'll see.

I hope you are having a jolly Wednesday!

Just think...one day she is going to be begging you to do her hair! I am not looking forward to the day when I have to start braiding my dd's hair. I have a feeling karma is going to get me for all grief I gave my mother...lots of squirming and crying, LOL!

Felicia December 9, 2009 8:06 AM

Such a cutie.. it has to be hard to sit there still for so long!

BTW.. about the face painting.. I'm not sure what they used.. but it looked just like normal finger paint.

I couldn't imagine....I'm lucky my girls didn't get their Dad's hair. I'm the worst hairdresser. I'm sure as she gets older those 'hairdressing' moments will become very special....don't we all just love to tell everything to our hairdressers lol.

Annie December 9, 2009 9:05 AM

THose are cute braids!
I used to give my mom fits when she braided my hair too - that is why she cut it so short as a kid.....I wanted long hair so bad, but without the tangles LOL

Have a great day!

Happy Wednesday!!

Little girls don't cry when they get the hair, washed, combed or done. What was she thinking? lol

Good for her for sitting still for that. How often do you have to wash her hair and plait it?

Nina December 9, 2009 12:56 PM

I have always said I am glad I have boys. If I had to do a girls hair everyday I would be in trouble. Trust me if you could see my boys hair half the time in the morning you would understand why. lOl....

Ooooh I love it! Her hair is gorgeous - I'm sure you have lots of fun playing with it. That does look like a lot of work though!

Life with Kaishon December 11, 2009 2:39 PM

Although I do desperately want a girl, I have hopes she will NOT have black hair because I do not think I CAN ever do that. Seriously! Those tiny braids always looks so awesome : ). All of my black friends think I am THE absolute worst because in the winter I let Kaish grow his hair long and fluffy : ). You know, they are all "you have to get shape ups every week, yada, yada, yada!" so anyway, I imagine if I have a girl with black hair they will FREAK out that I don't do it right : )
