Monday Mingle: 2.14.10 - Tell me something special about your spouse/partner

If you'd like to join in the fun, do a short vlog on your blog answering the week's questions (however many you choose), post the above button on your site and link up at Eighty MPH Mom. Visit the other participants, learn about them and have fun! Trust me, if I can do it, then you can.  Plus you can send in your questions to Jennifer for the next mingle via the form on her site. Come on jump in!

*I'll add my video when it's done uploading. My answers are written out below*

Next week's questions (first question submitted by Susan @ Say It Face to Face/5 Minutes for Mom. Thank you Susan!):

1. Do you have brothers and/or sisters? Growing up did you wish you had more or less siblings?

I did not know that I had siblings until I met my mother at age 22. She then told me I had two half brothers and a sister. I did wish I had siblings while growing up. I tried making a relationship with them when we met but the only relationship that has worked out and stayed constant is with my mother. I met them all in 2004.
I did grow up with 49 other girls and surely wanted less of them! lol

2. Did you have a wedding/first dance song? If so what was it?

Surprisingly we didn't have a dance song. I am sad by that. I love music and would have loved to shake my booty! What better place than your own wedding!
My husband does not like to dance, as a matter a fact , no one in his family will dance unless they are hauled onto the dance floor! They will not dance!
My vow renewal will definitely be all musical!

3. What did you do for Valentine's Day? Any special gifts given or received?

Today is Valentines day. I went to church earlier and now I'm sitting here talking with you. No celebrations today. Later I'll choke on my chocolates and watch one of my favorite actors/movie - Ralph Fienes.
My hubs is working and so he wont be home for a bit. He did promised that we'd do something special when he gets home. And I bought him something I think he'll like.

4.  In the spirit of Valentine's Day, tell us something special about your spouse/partner.

My husband gives people time to prove themselves in their own right. He will not judge someone based on what they are doing or not doing with their life at the moment. He will say, give them their seasons and then you'll be able to tell/choose if this is someone you want to associate with.
Everyone has their hard point and we don't always handle things well in the hard point and we all need help and forgiveness.
After their seasons, then you can judge for yourself how you want to interract with a person.
I love that about him and he helps me to see people this way too.

Thank you for visiting. Leave chocolates for me because I'm coming over too!

Happy Valentines day!

P.s If you have the time, do enter my giveaways if it's something you'd like to win or gift to someone else.

Ciao!

Next week's questions:
1. Name your 5 favorite movies
3. What is the most requested/favorite meal in your house?
2. Is your husband/partner/significant other into sports? If so, does it irritate you when he/she watches, or do you join in?

How it works:
1. Read the questions posted here on Eighty MPH Mom.
2. Record a vlog answering the questions.
3. Post the Monday Mingle button on right hand side (and/or link to Eighty MPH Mom), along with your vlog on your blog (remember this us an excellent way to bring new readers to your blog).
4. After your post is up, put the link to your blog/mingle in the linky on Eighty MPH Mom (so others can see yours!).
5. Visit the other "minglers" and leave comments. Also try to follow other minglers and maybe they will do the same!

Have fun!
**It is important to link to Eighty MPH Mom, so people can easily find the other minglers.

Someday I'll get my MM done early like you do.

P.S.I love listening to your videos.

Okay, the first to questions the answer would just be - my brother is deceased, and I wish he was here, and but I did always wish I had a sister to talk with, pal with etc. and the second one I didn't have a big wedding. We eloped, and then we had a weeding in our backyard six months later so his mama could see her only boy get married. So, there's two answers anyway. I'll have to remember this for next Monday.

Hi Callie!
I still think you have an amazing life story. It is so full of God's grace. Trying to have a relationship with your siblings is so emotional and hard to do!

Last year Josh forgot all about Valentine's Day, he was working so much. He never tried to make up for it, but this year he finally made it better LOL This holiday is silly in my opinion. We celebrate our love for each other every other day of the year.

I absolutly love your husband's take on giving people a chance. What a great guy you have!

Awww thank you for the birthday wishes - you are too sweet!

You didn't get to shake your boo-tay? Well that's no good!

Oh that is too bad your hubs was working on Valentine's Day. I hope he did something nice for you when he got home.

I love that quality of your husband's. He sounds like a wonderful, caring man.

Thanks for mingling with your lovely face!
