Avoiding Foreclosure - You have options!

We all need help at one time or another with making financial decisions or getting back up out of a financial rut/crisis. I would like to introduce you to the NFCC. They are doing a wonderful job in providing the resources needed to guide us along our financial journey.

They have manuals and DVDs which covers a wide range of topics and are very helpful in whatever financial path you find yourself.

"When we break an appliance in our kitchen, we try to fix it ourselves if the right step-by-step manual is on hand. If we don't can't find a manual, we guess and hope for the best. Another option is to find an expert to fix the problem efficiently, so things can return to normal. The applies for our finances. When we find ourselves in financial woes, we have similar options."

Don't you sometimes wish there were a manual, written by an expert, to walk us through our crisis and help us regain some form of financial stability? This is where the NFCC comes in.

NFCC has created workbooks to get us on the right track towards some of the most common financial goals. From "Better Fortunes" to "More than One Way Out," and "Live a Richer Life," these workbooks are filled with tips, advice and strategies straight from the experts! There are affordable 'user manuals' to provide loved ones, family and friends with reliable assistance. 

"Avoiding Foreclosure" is a consumer education DVD that introduces you to four clients who found themselves in mortgage trouble for different reasons and sought assistance from an NFCC-certified housing counselor. The DVD does several things. First, it introduces consumers to some of the terms and scenarios they are likely to encounter as they work to save their own home. Second, it familiarizes consumers with the process of avoiding foreclosure. Third, it shows examples of a variety of life situations and challenges facing individuals and families who are facing foreclosure and what they did (with the help of an NFCC-certified housing counselor) to address it.
