How Do You Pamper Yourself, Doing Taxes, Singing In The Shower - Monday Mingle

If you'd like to join in the fun, do a short vlog on your blog answering the week's questions (however many you choose), post the above button on your site and link up at Eighty MPH Mom. Visit the other participants, learn about them and have fun! Trust me, if I can do it, then you can.  Plus you can send in your questions to Jennifer for the next mingle via the form on her site. Come on jump in!

THIS WEEK'S QUESTIONS (submitted by Java with Jacki!):

1. How do you pamper yourself?

I don't pamper myself at all. My days are just day in and out with kids and chores. This is sad. I really need to find time to do something just for me that does not include blogging , being online.
Actually there is no point in my life that I remember me pampering me or being pampered.  Should it count that when I was pregnant with #1, my SIL and I went to have our pedicures? It was the only time I had a pedi too! I'm in serious need of pampering here.

2. Do you prepare your own taxes or have someone else do them for you?

Yes we do prepare our own taxes. We used to use Jackson Hewitt but they would charge an arm , leg, back etc so we made the decision to do our own taxes and have been for a few years now. The husband is the tax expert. He is VERY GOOD with math and numbers (yay for school homework! :) ) and also very meticulous and does get our taxes down on time. I lovers him :)
3. Do you sing in the shower? Car? If so, what do you sing? Favorite sing-a-long songs?

I love belting out in the shower. Something about the echo or whateever makes you think you actually can sing :) Plus in my mind I picture doing this in front of a mic with crowds etc. (YES OF course with clothes on!!)
It's where I feel comfortable to sing and no one will really hear it. And yes I also sing along in the car when it's just me and the kids.

I also want to join the choir. I've sung on choirs before but felt so conscious with that mic. What if I hit a sour note etc. but I loved it.

What about you? :)

Have a fabulous week bloggy friends.

NEXT WEEK'S QUESTIONS (submitted by Mrs. Cox's Slice o' Heaven):

1. If you had the financial ability to donate $100,000 to a charity, which would it be and why?
2. Have you given money to a panhandler before?
3. Have you ever given your time at a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, etc. ?

Pampering? I'm not sure what that even is!
We pay to get our taxes done. Yes, it is expensive but I love not doing them myself.
You should hear me sing in the car. I rock:)

How do I pamper myself? Hmmm well did you ever hear of a mother's ear? I have a wife's ear, and I shut it off every time my husband comes up with his jokes. He has such dry humor, poor man! It really takes some getting use too. Taxes? ROFL Do you think I'm crazy - NOT! We have someone do them. Too complicated for me every since I got self-employed. Singing? Well, you need to get over that girlfriend. I sang in a band as you know, and all you have to do is picture everyone in the crowd in their underwear. Okay, maybe not underwear being you're singing in a church how bout jamas! You'll be fine.
