My Question:
Can you ride a bicycle?
*******
I can't yet ride but I can get on a bike and not fall off for 60 seconds while riding. I would love to learn, I just have to get me a bike which means I'll have to save up for it. I can't wait to get one. Kailani says "In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response."

ReplyDeleteOnly if its true you never forget. I haven't been on a bike since I was probably 17. That's 14 years ago...

ReplyDeleteYes, but not for long without getting a really sore rear-end . . . but you didn't need to know that.

I have not been on a bike in at least 15 years now. TechyDad and I are thinking about getting some to ride with our kids. We tried some the other day and both realized that it had been so long it was not second nature to us.
ReplyDeleteI can but, my bike has had a flat tire for over a year.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

I can ride a bike and would love a new one. We live in a great neighborhood for riding, but our adult sized bikes are currently broken.
ReplyDeleteI can, but I'm a little more shaky than I was as a kid!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been on a bike in over 20 years...I wonder if I could!!
ReplyDeleteYes. I learned at about 7 years old & still we bike ride with my kids.
ReplyDeletegood luck on learning - it's a lot of fun!♥
I actually can't. It's not a skill I ever learned - my husband thinks that's crazy! Maybe I should learn with my child when he learns:)
ReplyDeleteI rode a bike all the time as a child, then when i started cycling to work about 5 years ago, I was amazed at how difficult I fouind it. I've nw changed jobs so don't cycle any more, but should really think about starting again!
ReplyDeleteHappy Aloha Friday and Friday Follow! yes, I can ride a bike and I need to do so again.

ReplyDeleteYou will pick it up quick and love it!!Aloha
You bet I can. In fact, we just got new bikes because our others were all rusted and in really bad shape. My only problem is that I have to regain my stamina.

Hey Colette,, Im like you I can't ride a bike, I fell when I was learning as a little girl and hurt myself very bad (required hospitalization) I never "got back on." I would love to learn how to ride so I could go out with my daughter and husband when they go riding on the trails.
ReplyDeleteoh yes but I haven't gotten to ride in a long time.
ReplyDeleteI love to ride, but especially love to ride the tandem with my hubby. That way he has to listen to me the entire way! (Lol)
ReplyDeleteI can ride atleast the last time I tried I could LOL. I need a BIKE TOO. can't wait to see what you pick up woooo whooo
ReplyDeleteI can ride a bike. Haven't ridden in a while though but isn't it one of things that you don't forget once you learn.
ReplyDeleteBoy o boy, I can use an Aloha Friday in my life!
Interesting fact, thanks for sharing:)
I can ride a bike, but I am not very good at it. When I was a kid I used to wipe out on my bike all the time. I guess that has created a fear of getting back on one again in me.

Yes, I can ride a bike. I still remember my dad teaching me when I was 5. I was a really stubborn student, lol.
ReplyDeleteI could never ride without my hand, ever.
Oh, yeah I can ride a bike but I haven't been on one in a few years!!
ReplyDeleteI live right by Fox River just a few short blocks away & people come from all over to ride on our bike trail next to the river. My husband & I use to go all the time, but ever since my back surgery I'm a bit afraid to ride. Afraid of falling off I guess. We have a lot of hills around here too & bridges across the river. I suppose some day I'll get back on, but I don't see it coming too soon.
ReplyDeleteI can but not very well really.
ReplyDeletei used to could ride one... not sure if i still can... lol... to nervous to try and see
