Our little navigator.
My husband does not use a GPS. He is a map man and he is very very good at it too! Me. I'm all about the GPS :). Our whole travel to Alaska was done by planning our route with the map.

Mat uses a map too, but he does have GPS. It's good to be able to read a map!!
ReplyDeleteI use a map. Hubs uses the GPS. I think it's a good skill to know how to use a map myself.
ReplyDeleteI tend to think of maps and GPS as complementary. I'm good with maps, but I like to use GPS as well :)
ReplyDeleteMy mother taught me how to use a map very young. I'm glad she didn't, I think I'm the only person in Atlanta to never have gotten horribly lost, everyone calls me! Lol

That's impressive! My husband is very good with maps too. Not me! I like directions like turn left at the green house past the Safeway and right after you pass the squiggly line sign. LOL!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!

I like to see the relationship of places to one another with map reading...but, for quick and easy...it's GPS for me! I really like seeing your little one pouring over that map, though!
ReplyDeleteLooks like she's pretty good a reading a map, too! I NEED a GPS!
ReplyDeletegreat set of shots! I need a GPS too.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally a map person, but we did just get our first GPS. Now we just have to GO somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI love maps too.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you went to Alaska by map! I can't!
ReplyDeletewhile I love maps...there is something to be said for GPS.
ReplyDeleteI'm a GPS girl too and would never get anywhere if I had to do it by map. But it looks like she may be taking after her Daddy!!
ReplyDeleteI love maps too. We just got a GPS and I need to figure out how to use mine.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that reading maps is going to be a dying art now that GPS tell you exactly where to go and how to get there.
ReplyDeleteThe hubster is just now starting to like the GPS but it doesn't mean he will use it all the time, he is still not so sure and will keep his map handy also. It's got to be a man thing!
ReplyDeleteI use to do the map thing too when hubby & I would go on vacation. I'm spoiled now with GPS & I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures. The bring back so many happy memories about our road trips across Europe. I was often my dad's navigator.
ReplyDeleteI love maps, just print out one for my trip. Seeing makes the roads helps me:)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the GPS:) I admit it, I've spoiled myself, nobody should depend so much on technology. While using maps you actually remember the routes, which is not the case in GPSs
