It's Game Time! - Lafayette Puzzle Factory & Giveaway - Back To School Blog Bash - CLOSED - WINNER

Thank you all for entering. I do appreciate your time.

The winner is A Mom's Take.

Congratulations! I've sent you an email.

*******

One thing I miss about life in my country is that on any given evening or night, right after dinner (We are usually full and popping), you'll find us playing all sorts of games together! Sometimes just two persons, or a whole family, or a whole community. It's the best time possible. T.v is always a last resort, like if it's raining.

I miss these times with my family.

Now that I have children, I've been chafing to teach them all these games so we can enjoy them together. My kids are catching on quickly I think.

I received the Crayola Chalkboard Floor Puzzle from the Lafayette Puzzle Factory for review, and have been having a blast ever since!

The Crayola Chalkboard Floor Puzzle comes with 48 large pieces and a big Crayola Sidewalk Chalk Stick. The puzzle pieces are fun shapes that includes hearts, stars, diamonds etc and so it's easy to see where each shape will fit.. This is perfect for children! Once my kids figured this out, they were off competing. Then I had to show them how to look at the photo on the box and try to get the pieces to match the the same way. They also had to learn that not because a shape fit, it didn't mean that was where it belonged.

My kids are ages 3 and 5. The box says it's for ages 6+. However my kids have no problem fitting them all together in record time! At first there was the territorial toddler war for the puzzle pieces and each person; me, the boy and the girl had separate piles of puzzles and more often than not you'd hear one kid give off the warning 'rawr' that the other one shouldn't touch their pile.
So on to another lesson of team work. Puzzles can only be done together with team work, not separate piles. No selfishness allowed :) They RELUCTANTLY came together and then it was easier to get the pieces in their right spots for the picture to take it's shape. And really, everyone was much happier!
The first night with this puzzle was alot of learning, sharing and fun. I really enjoyed spending this down time with my kids. Sometimes it seems all I do all day is monitor: 'No!, 'Don't!' STOP THAT', SHARE WITH YOUR SISTER...etc etc etc.

They were so excited by the end of the game and couldn't wait to do it again and again and again.
Of course we had to put our signatures on it with the sidewalk chalk. The chalk speaks for itself. Every kid I know LOVES sidewalk chalk! My kids even draw on the trees outside!

These days, they put the puzzle together in under 15 minutes!!! They keep doing it faster and faster! Even when I shuffle!

I totally love this game and would definitely recommend this puzzle and Lafayette Puzzle Factory to any family.

I love that website. I want all of the puzzles, but if I had to choose I'd choose the 3D world one for my 9 and 11 year old boys and the other crayola one for my 7 and 4 year old girls.
