Tonight is Friday. Based on stereotype, we are supposed to have fast food for dinner and no one is supposed to cook, but because money is short in this family, I have to ensure to cook and keep leftovers handy. Actually it's not just because money is short. I always cook and we rarely ever have fast food.
Yesterday Thursday, was the last leftover chicken, so that meant I had to cook a new meal for today Friday. I was quite anxious and felt to scream, but at the market I found a pasta mix with vegetable and I added some hot dogs slices and basil and a few other spices and dinner was done. I thought it would taste awful but was rather delighted that it was yum!
These days cooking is no longer fun for me all the time. Now it's something that must be done four my family to eat and healthily. I don't want to do meals that take up too much time whenever I cook, so next time I'll be trying out the new Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce.
It promises to give my kids 2 servings of veggies in every half cup.
You have seen those advertisements about veggies in pasta sauces right? :) I love them.
This will be available soon in major retailers nationwide. The Ragu Old World Style Traditional pasta sauce has a naturally thicker taste the whole family will love and perfect for quick and tasty meals during your busy schedule as a parent.
I was entered for a chance to win a Ragu prize package in exchange for this post. No monetary exchange took place. See my disclosure.

Mmmmm Luv Ragu thanks for the post reminder.
ReplyDeleteRagu is our family's favorite! We love it more than anything. Yes, not Italian so we don't make the sauce from scratch.
