After he finished his project for school. He asked to cut one little thing. I left the room/kitchen and came back to that....

Oh I have been there! My kids get fascinated with scissors and so far my oldest takes the cake. Every day he would come home from school with a new "cut out" in the middle of his shirt! I was sooo mad! Especially because he is the oldest of my three boys so he was ruining shirts that could completely have been passed down to the next one. Keeping my fingers crossed your guy doesn't come with the same idea ;)

ReplyDeleteUgh. The dreaded scissors! The kids are drawn to them, but the messes are legendary. My son is drawn to cut things up that I need!
ReplyDeleteI have (so far) been able to keep the scissors up from my 2-1/2 yr old. I know it's only a matter of time. We're still in the "chewing crayons into oblivion" stage. I will never understand the need to eat crayons yet not want to eat real food with actual taste.

ReplyDeleteHe's quite the little artist, you should have given him some glue and asked him to paste the pieces to something you could throw away later :) keep him busy for another hour LOL

ReplyDeleteOh geezers! Lots of memories! Glad there was no blood involved! I think it is an an accomplishment thing too, to be able to cut up tiny things... but no fun cleaning it up! What a nice mom to give him 'mercy'! ~hugs, Faythe :)
