Let The Music Strum Your Soul - "...Featuring" Norah Jones (New Album)

Our home always has music. I wake up and can't wait to hear a favorite song right after the other favorite one and music is always welcome over the tv.
I love music. I just love music! I wish I could actually sing beyond my bathroom walls, play an instrument, dance professionally, anything that involves music is a love of mine. I might not do it professionally but I enjoy it just as much!

I remember being at a family member's bridal shower and one of the things we reminded her to do in her new home, was to ensure to have music playing at any one time because it can change the atmosphere. It seems my Father-in-law always has music playing whenever we visit.

One of my favorite artistes is releasing her new album today and it is just nice. Perfect for relaxing, dancing, teasing the ears and soul and sometimes you can't help twirling the kids and hubby :)

Norah's new album is "...Featuring." and She has such a beautiful voice and the rhythms are just right, not to mention the duets with other great musicians! I promise that you will enjoy this album!

A few of my faves on the album is:  Baby it's Cold outside (Norah and Willie Nelson), Here we go again (Ray Charles and Norah) , Loretta (Gillian Welch, Norah and David Rawlings) and

...Featuring is a star-studded collection of the multi-platinum selling, multi-Grammy Award winning singer's musical collaborations from the past decade. The 18 songs on the album include cool cameos, collaborations and duets with such legends as Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton, and with the 21st Century icons from Outkast to the Foo Fighters. The tracks on ...Featuring span Norah's entire career and reveal her astonishing musical versatility, from jazz to country, hip-hop to rock.

“A lot of the people on this record are people I've worshiped since I was a kid, and some of them are younger and more my contemporaries,” says Norah. “Even though the musicians are so varied, the vibe of the songs makes sense when we put them all together.”

  1. I remember when she first was discovered. I believe it was Santana that introduced her. Pretty cool I'd say.

  2. I think her voice is really pretty!!
