I love bleach. I use it for everything. I am a germophobe and I also like my whites spotless.
Of course with regular bleach comes all the fumes and I always feel like I'm going to drop to the ground after I'm done cleaning or doing laundry. However I just can't stop!
I am getting the chance to try out a new bleach in powder form and I like it very much.
It's winter and my daughter has this gorgeous top. This mommy gave her hot dogs and fries, made at home with KETCHUP!
Daughter had a great lunch and then came to show me her shirt. I wasn't even upset. I had two thoughts. I should have changed her top when we got home and now I get to try that new bleach from Tropical Traditions!
It works! And guess what? No fumes! YES!
TD to the rescue!
After the soak. Now on to the laundry.
I also tried this bleach on other whites (personal) and it works great! They talk about that soak for heavily soiled clothing and that is so true!
I love that it gets the stains out and rather quickly too and there is no FUMES killing my kidneys! I'll definitely go with this option of bleach.
I use the oxygen bleach with some baking soda to scrub the sinks, toilet and bathtubs and I like the outcome. Everything is clean and smells fresh. I don't have a window in my bathroom, so I always want to ensure it's fresh smelling and NO FUMES! I used to have to mask myself to clean my bathrooms with the vent going full speed.
There are lots more uses for the Tropical Tradition Oxygen Bleach! As parents we love all purpose products and this bleach definitely fits the mold. It even work on colors!
Did I mention not fumes? Ok because that's what I can't stop thinking about.
People have been using chlorine bleach in their laundries since the end of the 18th century. While these products work very well in whitening clothes, chlorine bleaches do have a negative effect upon the environment because of their chemistry. Care must be taken in using chlorine bleach as it is toxic to humans, animals, and plants.* Also, we all have experienced destroying a colored article of clothing because chlorine bleach was accidentally spilled on it.
Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach is a safe and effective alternative to chlorine based products and it can be used in many applications in and around the home. It is based on sodium percarbonate which uses oxygen for destaining and deodorizing. Oxygen Bleach is safe to use at all temperatures, on most washable fabrics, and all colors, in hard or soft water, and is compatible with other household cleaners. Also, it produces no harmful by-products which negatively affect the environment. Unlike chlorine bleach, which can merely cover up a stain, Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach attacks and breaks down organic stains to totally remove them from the garment.

Humm, I would love to try this bleach. I use the liquid ones to clean my bathroom because they work great, and so potent.
ReplyDeleteI would use it to clean the mildew off shower curtains.
