How Do You Wake Up?

It doesn't matter when I go to sleep, 12am, or 4am. I always wake up refreshed (sometimes tired), but I'm a morning person so I'm up , up and away. I turn my music on and get kids cleaned up and eating. I'm happy when I wake up.

I use my phone alarm to wake me up. Dh uses his little radio thingy.
And I have to wake up 5:30am every weekday morning so I can get the little one off to school.

How do you wake up?

1. Do you use an alarm? What kind? Phone, radio?
2. How early do you have to wake up in the days?

I'm finally cooking again. When I was sick. I didn't have the strength to do it. My son is very happy that I'm cooking again.
I made pasta and they asked for seconds!
Pasta is a good start.
I really want to make a menu for our meals but I'm slacking.

I am also joining in with Friday Follow. So if you happen to visit and follow me, I will definitely be returning the love.

  1. I use a music radio alarm to wake up - I'm a morning person, but a beeping alarm would wake me up on the wrong side of the bed. ;) Most days the alarm is set for 6:20, but on Friday hubby goes in early and we have to be up by 5:30 (although this morning I forgot to change the 6:20 alarm, so we were a little late getting up and didn't get to have our morning coffee together before he had to leave). :)

  2. I use an alarm clock and wake up to the radio. I'm not a morning person so I will usually hit the snooze button several times. During the week on school days I have to get up and make sure my older kids are up by 5:45. I will usually go back to bed for a bit because my younger kids don't have to get up until 6:45 and 7:45 (we have three different school schedules - elementary, middle, and high school) so our mornings are really staggered.

  3. My alarm goes off at 5:37 am, but I crawl out of bed at 6:00 then rush around like a mad woman to be to work at 7:00. I hate getting up early!

  4. 95% of the time my husband wakes me up before he leaves for work in the Am...he leave about 30 minutes prior to when my son gets up and that give me just enough time to get ready....the good news, my son doesn't get up till about 8 am, so I am thankful to sleep in till 7:30.

occasionally when needed I use my iphone alarm

  11. Right now my kids are my alarm clock. I'm usually awakened by a hungry two month old or a noisy 18 month old. I'm generally a morning person too so I don't mind.

  13. I have never been able to hear alarms, and I am not a morning person. Thankfully hubby is retired now and we just wake up when our bodies tell us to. Him first, then me some time later.

  15. I use an alarm clock, but seem to wake up naturally each morning at sixish. I am bad about going to bed on time too, and even published an article about sleep deprivation.:-) I aim for ten or eleven but seem to stay up to 1 or 2 then find myself groggy at work.

I hope you are feeling better.

I bought the Purex crystals and will try them out when I get out of work tomorrow. Thanks for good advice.

    Take care & God bless!

  17. I have to use an alarm since I am a night owl and don't do mornings well. I like having my alarm go off about 5 minutes before I have to get up and I like listening to the news brief and weather. Starts my morning with a little of what is going on.

    Have a great weekend girl!

  18. I use my phone now. We did away with all the separate alarms. Now that we have alarms on everything we own, not that we use them...lol
I wake up at the same time every morning, I can't ever sleep in. I am terribly upset about it too.

  19. It depends, I am a morning person, sometimes I wake up before the kids, if not, then one of the kids is my alarm clock, never fails I am up by 6:30 every day!

  20. I'm a morning person, too. I'm at my best in the early hours of the day. During the weekdays, I'm up at 5am. I use a digital alarm clock beside my bed with dual alarms. That's just in case I don't hear the first one go off, then the second one gets me. No worries, though, as the first one jolts me upward. The weekends are a different matter entirely, as I prefer to just wake up when I feel rested.
