A Slice Of Food Heaven Aloha!

I think I might be typing this in my sleep, so forgive the mess.

Questions:
1. Do you like cake?

Yes I do, but I rarely eat it. I actually had a great dream about it lastnight and it shocked me that I didn't have the slice of cake I knew I bought in my dream.

2. Do you like icing on your cake? Or just plain?

I don't mind a wee bit of icing, but another reason I don't buy cake  is because of the slobberfest of icing on them.
I usually scrape the icing off before eating it. Dh thinks I'm weird.

Of course there are icings that are absolutely delish, but you can rarely find those.

I made turkey stirfry with rice and salad sometime this week. It was definitely yum and I have to do it again. I would also love to start a menu, but seems I'm not sure how.

What is your foodie thing for this week?

I am also joining in with Friday Follow. So if you happen to visit and follow me, I will definitely be returning the love.

  8. I am not a huge fan of cake and I don't like a lot of icing. As far as my favorite food thing for this week - I don't really have one. It's been a pretty lousy week with sickness in the house!

  14. I love cake and the more icing the better. My husband only likes the icing so for his birthday every year I buy him a couple of cans of coconut pecan as well as a cake.

  23. Sorry I missed you last Friday. I just had the most delicious chocolate cake on Saturday called a Whopper cake, like the candy. The icing had bits of Whoppers in it. It was truly a slice of heaven. I've been dreaming about that cake every since.

You only like a little icing and my sister only eats the icing and leaves the cake part. You'd make a good pair! ;-)

Thanks for playing along! Hope to see you in the ring again this Friday. :-)

  24. I enjoy me some good cake every now and again, but I wouldn't say it's my COMPLETE favorite dessert-Actually, I wouldn't mind going for a piece of cake right about now :)

As for frosting, it depends on my mood and the quality of frosting. Buttercream...YUM! That crappy, sugarfest frosting they layer on cakes these days...Not so much.
