Laundry will always be apart of my life and I love finding detergents that will work great on my family's clothing.
Good thing we can multi-task right?
I've been using the Purex Complete with Zout which is a detergent and pre-treater, all in one. It works pretty well with my whites, but at first I was afraid to use it with my colors.
My kids are getting older and of course plays harder and in more 'things', so doing their laundry includes many little surprises. The Purex Complete with Zout is perfect for making their clothes once again presentable.
I use the Purex Complete with Zout to pre-treat and it works great, but takes just a bit longer on old stains (think a year or so) and I'm probably impatient and always forget the all-nighter. But for the quick stain removing even a day or week old stains, it works quickly!
Of course my detergent might not be your detergent, but you honestly must try this one! If you love it, you'll keep it or add it to your loves. I'm keeping this one for the family.
Purex is offering two of you a chance to win the Purex Complete with Zout.
This detergent and pre-treater is a powerful combination that works to get stains out the first time - even tough stains like grass, chocolate and tomato sauce. It can be used both in top loaders as well as HE washing machines.
There is a choice between the Fresh Morning Burst with a light fresh scent or the Free & Clear - fragrance free with hypoallergenic formula for sensitive skin.
How it works:
For normal loads, use it just as you would a normal detergent.
For really tough stains, pour a little directly on the stain and rub into fabric. Let it sit for 5 minutes before putting it in the washer.
How it fight stains:
Purex Complete with Zout contains three powerful stain-fighting enzymes. Each enzyme targets a different type of stain.
Protease: Works against protein based stains such as grass and blood
Amylase: Works against starchy stains such as chocolate and tomato sauce.
Mannanase: Works against guar, which is used as a thickener in many foods, such as ice cream, barbecue sauce, and salad dressing, because it's super sticky. Unfortunately it really sticks to fabrics too, making stains very difficult to remove. That's why the mannanase enzyme is so import in Purex Complete with Zout.
So want to try this detergent?

Thanks for the giveaway...it's not so much a shortcut, but I find that soaking a very soiled load of laundry overnight usually gets it clean without too much trouble.
