Writing a note to grandma

The five and four year old writing a note to their grandma overseas. She's only met them once. I pray we'll get to see her again soon.

Even though she is so far away she has a great relationship with the little ones. I'm so glad that they have this bond.

  5. So sweet! I rarely saw my Grandma as I was growing up, but i have fond memories of our letters, cards and phone calls.

  6. It’s got to be hard with so much distance and time apart. I’m certain she treasures these precious priceless letters.

  7. That's wonderful! I don't think that family closeness happens often enough these days. I'm sure your kiddos love their bond with their Grandma as she loves her bond with them. :) Too sweet.

  10. That must be hard to be so far away. Do you use Skype to stay in touch? My kids like to talk to their grandparents over the computer.

  12. It is terribly hard on my heart to know that she isn't fully apart of our daily lives. I didn't know her as a child until I was an adult and it is almost unbearable not to have her with me.

We use webcam for her to talk to the kids and see them and they see her etc.

I did try skype but it slowed down my pc awful and I had to take it off, so I'm not sure if I"ll try again. We'll see.

    Thanks for visiting! :)

I wish too that my boys will have a good and sweet relationship with their other grandma, my mother, who we only speak to on the phone because of the long distance. So sad really, but that is our life ...
Happy Mother's Day to you, to your mother and to all the moms in your life.
