Technological Visits With Grandma

Grandma lives in another country, so they get to have their relationship with her by phone and webcam. I'm so glad my mom cares enough to make this happen.

Wish I could say the same for the others in our family.

They both get to take turns and everyone enjoys their conversations. They've been doing this since there able to coo :)

  1. I really wish my mother cared about my children in this way. She lives one state away but unfortunately I married the wrong race. Oh well, her loss. It's wonderful your children have that special time with grandma :)

  4. That's so neat that your mom does that. I love how technology can make keeping in touch so easy; we are lucky!

  6. So sweet, just makes my heart ache they can't be together in person. But skype is very interactive, one time my husband was messing around with our big bouncy oversize ball while on skype, our granddaughter saw it and went and got her big ball and began to play with it. You could tell she totally was connecting over the computer...

  9. Aww, that's great! We have one attentive grandmother/father that drive 14 hours across country to visit, and another set that lives 3 hours away and is always "too busy" - go figure! Have a great rest of the week!

  12. Aw, that is so cute!

I'm really glad that your kids have a relationship, even if it's kept alive my phone and web chat.

Sometimes, that's the only way, and it's a wonderful thing :)
