The new school year has began and my son is also on a new journey in 1st grade. I'm very excited for him and he loves going to school, just as he did in Kindergarten. The only exception are this torn days when he tells me he really wants to stay with me because he misses me so much. Just melts a momma's heart, why don't you!
Since the time he got sick at school last year and I began making his lunch, he refuses to eat the school lunches anymore. He claims that he didn't get much and was always hungry (proven by the wolf that I picked up in the car line each day. So much so that I started to bring juice and snacks for him when I went to pick him up!) and also that the food does not taste good.
There are pizza slices in the foil and I add lots more cherries after thinking it over. That was first day of lunch |
So this year I have once again prepared myself to wake up at 5am to ensure there's a hot breakfast and good lunch ready for school! Of course I can always make his lunch overnight and put it in the fridge, but there's just something about packing school lunches in the mornings. :)
I already have lists of ingredients to switch things up and I also have the tools to protect his lunches.
The Easy Lunchboxes system is perfect for him and make things easier for me too! I actually make two sets of lunches in these boxes. One for him for school and the other for my daughter who stays home with me! Much less stress at lunch time. She also loves that she is sharing in a way with her brother even though she can't see him, and if we need to go out, she just grabs her lunch and eats it in the vehicle.
I know the recipe burn out is coming later in the year, but these lunch kits will remain reliable all throughout the school year. I have experience with them and can fully vouch for these products! It's great to find a product that fits well into my family! As a matter a fact the Easy Lunchboxes system recently became the #1 best seller in the 'lunch boxes" category on Amazon!! When you purchase, you will also get free shipping through their Amazon Store.
I received four container sets and a cooler bag. I've already placed my son's logo on them, so there's no mistaking what belongs to whom. He loves his lunch kit and it keeps his food cold and fresh.
The compartmentalize BPA-free plastic food containers are perfect for food portions and ensuring that a little of each pyramid is included in his meal. I honestly feel great when he comes home and begs me to make this or that again because it was so delish! :)
I know that these containers are strong and durable. They do well in the dishwasher and no complaints from my son having any problems trying to open the lids. They are made not too tight so that little hands can open them easily.
Another great feature of the waste-free lunch boxes system is that we save money by reusing the products!
The cooler bags are nice and strong too. During the week I just wipe spills out from the inside and wash the bag on gentle cycle on the weekends!
The bags are insulated, vinyl free (PVC free), lead free and FDA compliant with PEVA lining.
Easy Lunch Bags are vinyl free (PVC free) & lead free, with an FDA compliant PEVA lining.
This one of the best lunch systems that any parent could own and I fully recommend these products. I'm so satisfied and happy with them. If I need a gift, this is something i would give to my family and friends for their children.
