Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. Cyril Connolly (1903 - 1974)

Extraordinary Measures

I rented this movie from the library and watched it alone because I wasn't sure if it was family friendly. It's a wonderful movie and definitely family friendly.
I didn't have to worry about expletives or adult situations in front of my kids.

So since I've watched it alone. I feel I should watch it with my kids and have some discussion going. Children learn so much you know.

The movie is based on a true story. I love those kind of movies and it's inspired by the book "The Cure"  by Pullitzer Prize-winning writer Geeta Anand.

Courage and determination push idealistic father John Crowley (Brndan Fraser, The Mummy) into joining fources with reclusive medical researcher Dr. Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford). Together this unlikely pair face impossible odds as they battle the entire medical establishment and time itself to find a cure for Pompe's Disease before it's too late.

Keri Russell, Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford
