So which one is better?
Which one do you own?
Which one do you plan to buy?
1. Do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or in a cone?
I prefer cone. I love licking my ice cream like a little kid on a summer's day. Bowl meh
2. What three things do you love the smell of?
Mowed grass, strawberry anything (cake, juice, perfume), sea breeze

3. Giftcards or no? (In regards to gift giving...)
Yes. Even in our family I have no idea what would please them. They do well to get it on their own instead of huffing.
4. What sports did you play in high school if any and do you still play them?
None. I did race once, but I freaked out. I would have loved to play something.

5. Were you in band in high school? What instrument did you play?
No. But I wish we had that in our school. I would have played the piano or guitar or both.

We just won the $99 Kindle that has the ads and the keyboard on the front. I love it. It has wifi, but without the touch screen it is a bit tough to use the internet on it. My guess is the touch screen Kindle would make that a lot easier. The Fire is run on Droid platform, so you can get apps for it. It is not simply an eReader it has more options and is in color. It seems like a Nook color with a major step up. We are looking into this, but would likely wait for a second generation since the Kindle was not loved until generation two and beyond. It seems like they kind of rushed the Fire for the holidays instead of getting it exactly the way they wanted. Psst - TechyDad has researched these a lot.
ReplyDeleteI can't help you with the Kindle but I can tell you I love ice cream every way, cone, bowl or right out of the carton. As for smells, my favorite is bread baking, YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're iPad people around here. I really enjoy ice cream when I get it home from the store and before it goes in to the freezer- it's just right!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!

My daughter bought me a kindle, I love my ice cream in a bowl, I love the smell of lilacs, pine trees, and new babies. Gift Cards - Yes!, Sports I'm not a sports person. I was in Choir in High School but I learned to play guitar and some piano.
ReplyDeleteI have the Kindle 3G with keyboard and LOVE it... not so sure about the new ones??
ReplyDeleteI don't eat ice cream very often but when I do it is in a bowl!
As for smells nothing to sweet : )
We have an iPad as well, but my mom is thinking of getting the Kindle without the ads - I think that's the touch? And I am all over giftcards! :-)
ReplyDeleteDon't own any kind of e-reader...Just had an ice cream in a cone today...I love the smell of new babies, baby kittens, and Fresh baked bread...Gift cards, than they can buy whatever...Didn't play sports...Not in the band, and didn't play an instrument...
ReplyDeleteSo which one is better?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I'm looking at Kindle and Nook Color. When I figure it out, I'll buy one.
1. Do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or in a cone?
Both. Depends on where I am and my mood
2. What three things do you love the smell of?
Starbucks, Vanilla and Honey Blossoms
3. Giftcards or no? (In regards to gift giving...)
Yes, so much easier than trying to figure out what to get.
4. What sports did you play in high school if any and do you still play them?
I ran in school and played softball, but don't do either anymore.
5. Were you in band in high school? What instrument did you play?
I wasn't in band, I was in the Drill Team
Here's Mine
Don't own any of them, but am looking into buying one with the Amazon I have saved.
ReplyDeleteI love ice cream either way.
I love the smell of Vanilla.
Gift cards are cool to give as gifts.
I played basketball and no, I wasn't in band.
I LOVE my Kindle - it's the $139 Kindle Keyboard version (that has WiFi and 3G network so I can download books anywhere even if there isn't a WiFi hotspot). :) I'm getting that version for the hubby for Christmas since that's on his list (and he's not too keen on a touch screen, would rather go 'old school' with the keyboard option) - provided he doesn't buy one himself since he tends to do that. ;) Princess Nagger wants the Kindle Fire so she's not stealing my Samsung Tablet to play games on...I was tempted to get one but since I already have a tablet, it's not a necessity. :)
ReplyDeleteAloha: (Not So) Express Care
A Kindle is at the top of my wishlist! I don't really care what version I get as long as it doesn't have ads.
ReplyDeleteI prefer my ice cream in a cone, but I will take it any way I can get it :)
I love the smell of peaches, lavendar, and fresh cut grass.
Gift cards are awesome. I love to give and receive them.
I didn't play any sports in high school. I was a member of the marching band - in fact that's where I met my husband. I was in the color guard but I really wish I had learned an instrument.
Which seabreeze do you mean? The facial wash, the drink, or the actual smell of the wind when you're near the ocean.
ReplyDeleteI admit, I love them all!

ReplyDeleteI like my ice cream in a bowl,and I don't have a Kindle. I have a Nook!
ReplyDeleteI don't plan on buying either one, the ipad is great for reading too. I don't feel it is necessary to have a kindle.
ReplyDelete1) I received the regular Kindle for birthday, and still learning as I go.
ReplyDelete2) I preferred my ice cream in the cup, less messy for me.
So cool that you get to play your guitar! I was a clarinet person, but not for very long...got bored with it.
