How To Make HomeMade Playdough

I don't like the oil idea, but I'll have to try this recipe. It's winter and we will be needing fun things to occupy the kiddies at home. So let them help make it!

2 cups of sifted flour
1 cup salt
2 packets Kool aid (no sugar added)
4 tablespoons cooking oil
2 cups water

Boil water and oil in a small saucepan. Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl.

Pour water/oil in bowl with dry ingredients and mix well.

Place dough on counter and knead for 1 to 2 minutes and let cool.

Then place in gallon ziploc bag for storage.

The kool-aid packet you choose will determine the color of your playdough.

Shelf Life: About a month then throw out (non-toxic, made for play)
