1. Were you stressed or peaceful on Christmas?
2. Did you feel thought of and loved on Christmas?
What is your Foodie Crave for this week?
1. What's the oldest piece of clothing in your closet?
A cute little black blouse I've had since 1999 or 2000. Yes it still fits. But it's going to tears now.
2. How many random blog readers have you met?
None so far. I don't have the practicality to travel. I have no money and young kids.
3. Do you let your kids stay up till midnight on New Years Eve? (Or, if you don't have kiddos yet, did you get to stay up until midnight as a child?)
Yes I do let them stay up very late on New Year's Eve and watch fireworks, eat and sing and play.
4. What are the gas prices where you live?
Last I checked it was normal. Not sure if it's back in the WTH range as yet. See it's Christmas break and I"m not on the road every seconds anymore. That's for when I'm bussing the boy to school.
5. What is one resolution that you know you should do but are too afraid to try?
Start studying for my degree.

I was a little bit stressed just before Xmas getting ready for the holiday, but was totally relaxed later on and loving it. HappyNew Year to you!
ReplyDeleteEveryone was sick, but we had a pretty chill Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bittersweet Christmas. It was sad due to just losing my Mom in September, however, both my sons were home from out of state and seeing how close they are as brothers and what great men they have become, made me realize how blessed I am.
ReplyDeleteOnce Christmas arrived, I felt very peaceful. I was a little stressed during the two weeks leading up to it, though (trying to rush around and finish shopping, getting my house ready for get-together, budgeting money, etc.). And, I did feel loved although a little sad (missing my Dad who passed away two years ago).
ReplyDeleteChristmas was quiet as we had a small party at home.
ReplyDeleteDidn't really have any thoughts of being loved on Christmas only as I feel loved everyday as the kids love to shower me with kisses and hugs.
Not sure if I am craving anything this week... I think I am still full from Christmas : )
ReplyDeleteChristmas was not to peaceful because one of my children had a very messy stomach virus. I did feel thought of and love because the rest of the family still wanted to be with us despite the posabilelty of catching a contagious virus.
ReplyDeleteMuch less stress this year. With my 5-year-old daughter in kindergarten, I now have the time to get things done without her tagging along. She was so happy and excited, I would say we were all feeling the love this Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I was so ill on Christmas day that I never even got out of bed.
ReplyDeleteWe just lost my MIL, which totally affected our holiday season.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy new year!

I was a little stressed about things, but I pulled it together and calmed down for Christmas Day.
ReplyDeleteWe had a great Christmas and no there was no stress at all. We let our kids stay up late as well. They have fun and it is the one night that I let them stay up really late. What degree are you going to start. Education is hard but well worth the time it takes.

We had a great Christmas, though the first one with Little Dude (and probably his first real Christmas) was a tad bit stressful at times, but we managed to survive! ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Happy New Year Callie! :)
Toasting the New Year...or Making Toast
Chanukah was really calm this year. It was go with the flow, didn't stress, and it was nice to have a quiet family day together since it lined up with Christmas.
ReplyDeleteEven with all the craziness of three overly excited girls ripping open their presents all at once, I was peaceful. It's always so nice to see Christmas through a child's eye. Hope you have a wonderful New Years!

We had a peaceful loving Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI let my kids stay up too. If it isn't an early day next day, I don't mind it as long as they are with me.
ReplyDelete1- I had a peaceful Christmas for the first time. I only had to think about my family.
2- Interesting question...actually pretty good...:=)
Yes, I did felt love and thought of, at least by 4 souls for sure. :-)
Definitely stressed in the days leading up to Christmas. But at least I felt loved and thought of.
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful Christmas with my family, definitely a peaceful and loving one! :-) Hope your New Year is fantastic!
