I'm not a twilight fan. I've not read or seen any of those movies, shows or books.
I was taken with this book. Then I found the author and read another and now I just HAVE to read all her books and they are free and if she ever has some for selling, I'll definitely be buying.
I LOVE these books!

Yes, my favorite series is the "Virgin River Series" by Robyn Carr. I've been reading for a few years now. Yes, I do read on my Touch Kindle!!
ReplyDeleteTwilight... Yep one of those moms. True blood is good too ; ) gonna have to check this series out.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite series is the "Left Behind" series.
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle and a Sony Ereader.
My favorite series:
ReplyDeleteMark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers
and
The Hunger Games
I have Kindle for my IPad and smartphone but I don't use them very much. I prefer the actual book in my hands.
Just finished reading The Hunger Games trilogy and really, really, really enjoyed it. Also adore the Kingdom Keepers books by Ridley Pearson because they are based on Disney. Oh and yes, we have a Kindle.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favourite series but read as and when I get the time and whatever I fancy at that time.
ReplyDeleteMy reading device - PDF and paperbacks.. Kindle is not avaliable in Asia so even if the book is free on Amazon I can't download it to read.
I haven't jumped on the Twilight bandwagon (yet...it's just a matter of time) but those books you've been reading sound right up my alley! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle and a Kindle Fire...love them both! :)
Aloha: Tu loquere Latine?
Like you, I haven't read or seen any of the twilight movies or books. The cross series by James Patterson, but the last few books have been disappointing. I'm starting to wonder if he's really writing them.
ReplyDeleteMy two favorite series are "In Death" by JD Robb and the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. I own a Kindle touch but I still prefer paper books.
ReplyDeleteI have Kindle for my PC, Mac, & iPhone. This is my preferred way to read when I find the time to do it. My mind won't stay still long enough to read a book, but magazines or blog posts I do fine with. Maybe in time I can stay more focused.
ReplyDeleteWell, no, no, and no. Not much time for reading & I hear they're quite expensive, but I better start saving my pennies or should I say quarters because my girlfriend likes to read & that would be a nice present for Santa to bring her. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Colette ~~ Nice post, nice books. I think a lot of the readers like chic-flic movies and I will call your books chic-kindley books (unless you tell me that the readers are fairly equal numbers of male and female).
ReplyDelete1. I am currently reading books by Meier, Leslie. They probably are chic-books. She has a heroine, Lucy Stern, who is a part time reporter in a small town (ficticous) in Maine and seems to play amateur slueth in every book.
Her latest is Chocolate Covered Murder. My sister got me started on them by recommending English Tea Murder. That would be for me to read about Lucy visiting London and seeing sights that I have seen.
2. No reader here yet but I suppose I would like one. Probaby it would be on an iPad. My two-year-old granddaughter has one and so do her mom (my daughter) and dad.
..
I just got a Nook and I love it especially when I'm traveling. I like to read non-fiction.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

I do not really have a series that i read, but I read ALL books by Jodi Picoult and Nicholas Sparks..
ReplyDeleteMy mom has been reading the series by Karen Kingsberry and loves her
Kindle? KINDLE! MY KINGDOM FOR A KINDLE! I was reading a series by Stephen King called the Dark Tower when I was working. Dang, it was such good reading. Then when I had surgery & became disabled I didn't work downtown anymore (I was taking a train & reading), so I stopped reading. I know bad girl. Someday I hope to read them again. Although I don't have all of them, but I know where to get them cheap. As far as series go I do DVD'S now. I just got all of "CHARMED" I love that show. I'd like to get The Ghost Whisperer next. Woo Hoo
ReplyDeleteI was hooked on the "Left Behind" series and had to read each new edition. I sat up all night till I finished one and would anxiously await the next. I have been very loyal to a number of writers such as JD Robb, James Patterson, Debby Macomber....I have been too busy of late to read fiction, but would LOVE a reader!!
ReplyDeleteI do read some series of books, but usually after 3 or 4 books in the series, I move on to something else. I prefer a good stand-alone book.
ReplyDeleteI'm guilty of having a NookColor and a Kindle. But I still prefer a real book.
Thanks for your visit yesterday.
yes, I've been reading the "outlander" series. Now that my 5 year old is in kindergarten, I actually have a few minutes to read from time to time :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
I do like the Twilight books, but I think my favorite series is the Sigma Force series from James Rollins, my favorite author :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm all about old school-No electronic reading devices for me!
I have a kindle, and on it, mostly classical novels. I find the words are so beautiful and intriguing!
ReplyDeleteI can't read series, because I'm too impatience to wait for the end..I may have to stop sleeping and eating to read until I finish. Obsession disorder, you know..
I have a Nook, and I love it. I like lots of series (not Twilight, though). Harry Bosch (he's a detective), Stephanie Plum (bounty hunter, sort of), Harry Potter, and lots more.
ReplyDeleteHi Collete! I don't have a reading gadget and so glad I didn't adpt it. Between my ipad, phones, laptops = I think I have enough metal with me to satisfy my tech needs.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I am watching the Tudors, it's about King Henry viii. Quite interesting almost at the end. They did a great job!
Right now my favorite book series is The Hunger Games. I can't wait for the movie to come out! I read all my books on my iPad.
