I know that I love Mondays, but for some reason, today I'm very sad again and my heart is breaking a bit. I know it will pass, but I also know something too will always remain.
So this all I could come up with today. I've always loved this song though, so no loss here.

ReplyDeleteEl Paco makes me think of a John Wayne movie I saw, but I just can't recall which one. Of course, The Duke was in many westerns so it could've been any of them.
ReplyDeleteIt's great dancing with you today, my friend. I hope your sadness lifts as you hop from blog-to-blog today getting your country groove on. I'm soooo glad to be partying with all of my musical friends at the start of a new week. =D
What a classic choice! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry your heart is breaking a little - hope things get better for you soon! ((HUGZ!))
Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck since there are Things You Can’t Do In A Car – hey Angel Eyes, Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy) with a Hillbilly Bone because you’ll be Blown Away

My Mom use to love this song too! Thanks for reminding me of good memories and sharing with all of us. I think the older country songs is really country! What they have now I think it's called Rock-a-billy! Oh well, gotta call em' as I see them. LOL Good choice, girlfriend!
ReplyDeleteI like the stories in country music, but I'm not a fan.
ReplyDeleteThe El Paso song by Marty Robbins was an excellent choice. I loved hearing that again.
