Forgiveness - 4Ms

Who knew there were still places without phone service and internet, but alas, there is and I was there for more than a week!

Sorry I missed out on the communing with you lovelies. I promise I'll get around as soon as I settle. I just got back home this morning from AZ and I'm super tired. However spending thanksgiving with the inlaws was 1. foodalicious 2. Very awesome for the kids.

I will share more as I can.

Love to yous!

My inspirational music right now is: Forgiveness.
I'm trying hard to do it with so many areas of my life and O_M_G it's hard! Sorry for the om_

But for freedom's sake, I will have to. Freedom for my spirit. Freedom to love freely.

It's the hardest thing to give away
And the last thing on your mind today
It always goes to those that don't deserve

It's the opposite of how you feel
When the pain they caused is just to real
It takes everything you have just to say the word...

Forgiveness
Forgiveness

It flies in the face of all your pride
It moves away the mad inside
It's always anger's own worst enemy
Even when the jury and the judge
Say you gotta right to hold a grudge
It's the whisper in your ear saying 'Set It Free'

Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness

Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible

Forgiveness, Forgiveness

Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness

It'll clear the bitterness away
It can even set a prisoner free
There is no end to what it's power can do
So, let it go and be amazed
By what you see through eyes of grace
The prisoner that it really frees is you

Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness

Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness

I want to finally set it free
So show me how to see what Your mercy sees
Help me now to give what You gave to me
Forgiveness, Forgiveness

  8. I didn't know there was such a gorgeous song about forgiveness. That's probably because I got a big homework in the area of forgiving. So glad it's what you posted for this week's theme. There really is a need for many of us to be reminded that "to forgive is divine."

P.S. I'm late. Got stuck at work.

  11. Colette, I saved a photo I found on facebook to help me visualize what withholding forgiveness does to us. It is a clenched fist over a burning coal. It is such a hard gift to give, but we are biggest benefactors when we give it. So glad you were able to go to Arizona to your in-laws. Awesome! I know they love you so much, like I love mine!!

    Blessings.
