Paper or Cloth? - Aloha Friday

Do you use paper towels or cloth towels most in your home?

I use both, but 90% of the time it is cloth towels for everything.  No paper towels / napkins at the table either. The kids will use cloth or just wash and dry as they finish eating.

  3. I use both also...if I am cooking, I always go for the paper towels so not to cross contaminate. For most other things...cloth.

  4. I use both - cloth towels are mostly only used when we are drying dishes.

  5. I use both - but like Tammy, when I'm cooking I use paper towels so as not to cross-contaminate. :)

  7. We do both as well. Paper towels are rarely used except for big messes and major cleaning. I only buy napkins for birthday parties to make it more festive (don't buy the other themed paper products).

  8. Hi Colette, nice questions. ~~ We use mostly cloth towels for drying things like the dishes and our hands. Then paper towels for wiping up fairly large spills (huge ones use half dirty towels from the basket) and as napkins at the table. We geneally break one paper towel into four pieces for the napkin use.

I am glad your kids have yellow cars. My granddaughter has a real one, a 1995 Mustang Convertible that she has had all the way through college and now her three plus years after her graduation.

  9. I use both too! Paper towel for clean up when cooking, and cloth for others. No napkin for us, as I just split the paper towel to use it as napkin. I can't see the difference..

  11. We use towels. The only times we use paper towels are times when things are so dirty that it just best to be thrown out. Otherwise, wiping counters, and drying hands are mostly done with towels.
