Ultimately I know that as a mom of newborn to toddler age, I would have appreciated it if everyone just bought me more diapers and wipes and make me food to reheat :) So trust me, those are very special gifts for moms at any time!

What do you wish to receive for your baby?

  1. Thank you for this list! The last gift on my list is for my brother-in-law's little one. I wanted to get something unique and still affordable. Mission accomplished!

      So glad I could help!

  2. I think everyday our kids are being spoiled more and more. They have so many choices and toys now that will stimulate their growing brains much more than we did.

    1. So true about kids being spoiled. Seems they even receive things they aren't ready for as yet. So sad.

    2. Someone bought my son a Kindle Fire for Christmas. He's 5. I sooo wanted to take it back and get something more age appropriate instead. It may seem silly, but I think it's too much, I don't like it.

Hubby says no on exchanging it (his friend is the one who gifted it...says his son loves his...his son is 6). *sigh*

    3. I absolutely agree with you Rosey! I think at that age, it's too much. A leapfrog explorer is just fine!

I just don't understand the thinking of people many times. How can you not think and be rational?

  3. I love that drum in the first picture! My husband grew up in a drumming family, so the kids love to play drums!

I always thought the Cloud B turtles were so cute, but we never did get around to trying one and the kids are too old now.

Excellent list, glad I came across it!

    1. That is so fun that the kids have music with their father.
I love music and so do the kids. They even have a drum set too with cymbals and all, almost like the one in the pic, but just for older kids. Maybe when they are older like yours, they might want grown up instruments :)

The kids have been bugging me for the light up turtle that lights up the ceiling, but they already have a night light. And I explain to them, that just because you see something and think you want it really bad, doesn't mean you need it, and soon the feeling will wear off. Tell that to kids eh, but I don't buckle easy, so they are out of luck! Not to mention we have a tight budget.

      Thank you Rosey.
