The rain hit hard and didn't stop for almost an hour!
all of a sudden it was like living on a lakefront property!
Of course it rained from 12pm to almost midnight yesterday to today. I love rain, I do, but there can be too much at once in some places.
Soon I'll need stilts for the navigating.
And to think they said were didn't live in a flood zone.
maybe I should check on our insurance. Oh life. If only kids understand how important it is to enjoy just being children and having all done for them.
But we must all be bruised by living so we can learn.
How is your weather?

ReplyDeleteJust a bit into our garage, but I think the bags of garden material soak most of it before it could come in further.
DeleteSeems the yard is draining properly so I must give thanks.
That's a lot of rain.
ReplyDeleteWow what a deluge, glad you are safe and hope you stay dry. We have also had quite a lot of heavy rain the past few weeks here on the West Coast with intermittent sunshine.
ReplyDeleteOur skies but weep or go about saddened. I hope we do get the sun to dry the earth just a bit soon.

ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope you all get a rest from the rain and it doesn't come into your home!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteSo far, just into the garage, but I'm praying it wont come all the way up.
Reason #1 I do not like living beside ditches!
That is a lot of rain Colette! We have also been having a lot of rain here in my parish. Yesterday it was so windy and chilly. Today I had a slight fever but I am feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better Judy! It's never good when it's all nasty weather and then being sick!
DeleteOh goodness! The weather all last year and this year has just been completely wonky!
ReplyDeleteRight now, I'm listening to ice on my window o.O
Not a good sound! Always wondering if it's going to break!
DeleteI agree on the wonky weird weather going on!

ReplyDeleteit rained here off and on for a week...glad it is over ;)
Just garage flooding and car saturation. Our car is very old. I should have put it in the garage if I knew it would get wet inside.
DeleteSo not much at all.
Glad yours is over too.
It's sunny here and I hope it lasts for awhile, we need the earth to dry up a bit to take in the rest of the water.
Happy Sunday to you Noelle :)
