Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. Cyril Connolly (1903 - 1974)

How Beautiful Are You?

Always beautiful. Made by God. With gifts and purposes. And most of all: Choice.

Please give your time to watch this amazing video!
Let us teach ourselves to be our best selves.

God bless you.
This morning was crazy insane. I was working most of the night trying to get my house clean and ready for my husband to come home. I hate not having a clean home for him to come to and it will make me anxious so I prefer to get it done.

I went to bed too late.

Woke up with 10 minutes to spare to get the kids up , cleaned, dressed, fed and off to school. Oh and I have to make lunch too and I went into a crazy person. I did not like myself. I hated how I looked. I can only imagine how my kids felt.

I got to school on time. A serious miracle!

Came home and just felt like the worst person, parent ever.
The whole time I was just berating myself, but always God's truth would come true. I can't argue with that can I?

Then I saw this video. I've been avoiding it all over the internet. And this morning (Friday) I saw it.  Wow. Why am I whining again? Why am I doing this to the beautiful person that God made? He made me. He loves me. I wouldn't be here, if he did not want me to be here. He made me.

So I will have to apologize to my children (seems I do this a lot) and I promise to love my husband in many ways this month. I hope I'll be successful.

Sometimes we just need a little help. We all do to remind us that we are valuable.
So God bless y'all

  1. You are beautiful. Glad the reminder was there for you...

    1. Thank you Noelle.

I ensure to tell this to my children as much as I can in sincere ways so they wont have to wonder as they get older into adulthood.

  2. I haven't heard of the video until now. It was very powerful, eesh. And humbling too. He was easily a source of hope/gratitude/thanks. What a great mission he's got in life.

And Noelle's right, you're beautiful. I see it in your posts all of the time. :)

    Thanks for the inspirational share.

    1. It's great to find these people to lift us up, especially when we get so much negative thrown at us each day/moment!

      Thank you Rosey!

  3. I saw this the other day too. Wow! And we all knew you were beautiful. I'm so glad you watched and realized.
