Can You Do The C-Drift? - 4Ms

Today was the day to wash and do my daughter's hair. I've tried to do the wash on Saturdays, but that just isn't working out at all! I'm not giving up on it though.

Sometimes I can get her hair done quickly and at other times it takes hours!! I feel so bad for her when it's a bit knotted, but she is still such a good sport about being patient through it. As much as a five year old can be patient. I try always to be patient and gentle because I know exactly how handling the hair feel as a child.

I bought her the book "I love my hair" and she has been so much better at sitting for me. I thank the author!

I"ll share photos soon. Right now I"m rushing to get this up.

So here's a fun video from the movie we watched together while doing her hair.

  4. Ice Age is a fun movie, but I just don't recall this funky little dance number - so cute and it made me laugh. Great fun way to start the week off. Loved dancing with you on Monday's Music Moves Me, my friend!

  5. It's amazing how a song can really bring back a memory. Now whenever you hear this song, you will remember doing her hair and vice versa.

  6. That is a fun dance, lol.

I like that you're so patient w/your daughter. My daughter never did anything but a braid here and there when she was little, but now she messes w/it alll of the time. ;) She won't let me touch it though, she likes to do it herself.
