I get the feeling that my daughter will grow up and teach me how to do my own make up. I'm really not in the know, about how to get all dolled up on the face, and I gotta say I envy the ease with which some ladies do it.
I want it to be easy for me. I want to be able to teach my daughter. As a matter a fact, she is in ballet and in just a few weeks I'll have to do her make up for a special group photo. I had no idea they'd need make up! Aren't they too young? I rushed to the store to get her a few things, hoping to practice before the big day! At least I got the bun down!
You can then imagine how I welcome the L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream! If I can get it ALL in one tube, then by golly I'll kiss the maker! And it promises to prime, perfect, hydrate and correct skin!
So, this is me before I slabbed on the L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream.

It always takes awhile to get used to new things, so I have no problem using this awhile and seeing how I take to it.
It certainly brings up the issue of me learning how to do eye make up so I can do a whole face coverage. This BB cream will work for me as a newbie learning about make up and shades.
I chose the deep for my skin tone. You can see the color choices below.

I don't use anything but sunscreen and foundation on my face. I just don't know how to blend it all in and honestly, it's hard to find my right shade in anything. And I certainly do not have the budget to waste on sampling everything on the market!
So the face up there is what you get most of the time, unless it's church or something special. A friend introduced me to the primer once and it made a huge difference with the foundation.
I really love the idea of the L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream. I love the bare skin look! Breathable and free. Easy on and off!

I love BB Cream! It's my new go to product.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you found one that works.
DeleteIt sure makes you look beautiful. I want some, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Danielle.
DeleteI hope you get to try one
I use and love many L'Oreal moisturizer but haven't tried this one yet.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer.
DeleteI tried Garnier's BB cream and it made my eyes water profusely. Did you have this issue with Loreal?
ReplyDeleteOh my yes! I didn't know that was what caused it. But as I wear it, then my eyes would water so bad!
DeleteI'm trying it! So far I like it. It's replaced both my moisturizer and primer. The only negative so far is that since it is winter, if I do get a dry spot on my face, I do need extra moisturizer. But so far I like the product.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ashley
DeleteI love BB creams. Like you, I found that the L'Oreal BB cream didn't work well for us chocolate sisters, but the Maybelline works fantastically! I wear it almost everyday, and I don't put on a moisturizer underneath because that makes the BB creams look too chalky. It's a perfect makeup addition for busy moms!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteIt is so true.
I was going to try Maybelline, but now that Iman has one, then I'll have to try hers. I used Iman foundation.
Hmmmm - I need to check these out! I've worn less makeup since I started staying at home but still want to look fresh - this looks like it would do the trick!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeannette.
DeleteI hope you find something that works.
I really don't wear makeup but this seems like something I should really try.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing Samantha. You should try it and see if it works
DeleteI tried the FAIR, because my skin is so light. It was far too light for me too! I looked GRAY! I think I need to try the "light" color for my skin tone. I just thought from the color sheet that it would have been too dark. But the fair is far too light. I think they may need to branch out and get more color variations.
ReplyDeleteI agree with them getting more variations Amber. Thank you
DeleteNo I haven't. I like Loreal products, and need to find some type of night cream that isn't so oily. It looks nice and smooth on you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amanda.
DeleteHope you find a nice night cream.
