Hair Glorious Hair!

Remember when I stayed up all night to get my daughter's hair done? Then instead of going to bed at 8am, I went to clean the bathrooms and floors because my husband was coming home that evening and there is no way I could allow him to come home to a dirty home?

Well here are the photos from that hair drama session.

This was my very first time putting braids in someones hair and I think it was great that I got to do it with my daughter's hair.

It took a very long time.

I'm very meticulous and it was my first time. I was nervous.

Maybe I did it too small. :)

Now I see why these sessions are so expensive in the salons.

My Trinidadian friend says I should/could go into business for myself.

Do you wear hair extensions? Wigs?

We've been missing Aloha Friday. If you are missing it, then do hang out with Pamela - and I and we'll visit y'all too.
You can also take part in Amanda's Two Question Thursday which is going strong many years now.

We'll continue in honor of Kailani's fun rules:
“Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your Aloha Friday post link below. Also, please consider linking back to this post so that others can join in, too! Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!” – Kailani

  3. I saw one picture on Facebook and thought it was gorgeous!! I'm glad you posted about it and put up more pictures. It is PERFECT and your daughter is a gorgeous one to model that gorgeous hair!! If it would make you happy I can def. see you being prosperous doing this for a business. People don't have talent like that their first time in (or their 5oth if your're me, lolol). Great job!

    1. Thank you Rosey.
I enjoyed doing her hair and especially that she loved it, but I'd probably have a stroke doing someone else's hair.

But then again, I might be good at it and I really do need a job.

Wow. It makes me smile that it is really good.

  5. @JudySheldon - I dont think your comment showed up.

Thank you for sharing again Judy.
And thank you so much. I enjoy doing it with my daughter. She sleeps, reads, play with gadgets, watch tv etc. I make her comfortable, but I'm not sold on doing a strangers hair just yet. :) Not at all.
However, I do need a job really bad!
