Back To School is going well here. My children love school and is all around excited to go. There has been no crying and dragging of feet.
Of course my daughter is more excited to go than my son. He has always maintain that he doesn't like school in a matter a fact way, but he still goes happily without whining. But if you ask him, he'll tell you he wants to stay home with mom.
Baby girl just loves school. She especially loves that she is in first grade now! She tells me that it makes her feels like a 'big girl' :) I just love her!
She also has a wonderful teacher who cares about her students. And she had a wonderful teacher while in kindergarten also!
I miss them still.
Now I need to seek about getting back to school myself and getting a job, because soon, they might come to collect this house.
How do you feel about your kids heading back to school? Excited? Worried? Relieved? Sad?...

ReplyDeleteBoth my kids enjoyed going to school and I loved back to school. It is funny reading so many posts about sadness. Guess I am or was a bad mom, I just never felt sad. Yikes.

My youngest headed back to school several weeks before classes started so she could participate in her sorority's recruitment. It's always sad to send a kid to college and missing them takes on a whole new level.
