Private Or Public - How Do You Feel?

Back To School is going well here. My children love school and is all around excited to go. There has been no crying and dragging of feet.

Of course my daughter is more excited to go than my son. He  has always maintain that he doesn't like school in a matter a fact way, but he still goes happily without whining. But if you ask him, he'll tell you he wants to stay home with mom.

Baby girl just loves school. She especially loves that she is in first grade now! She tells me that it makes her feels like a 'big girl' :) I just love her!

She also has a wonderful teacher who cares about her students. And she had a wonderful teacher while in kindergarten also!

I miss them still.

Now I need to seek about getting back to school myself and getting a job, because soon, they might come to collect this house.

How do you feel about your kids heading back to school? Excited? Worried? Relieved? Sad?...

We've been missing Aloha Friday. If you are missing it, then do hang out with Pamela - and I and we'll visit y'all too.
You can also take part in Amanda's Two Question Thursday which is going strong many years now.

We'll continue in honor of Kailani's fun rules:
“Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your Aloha Friday post link below. Also, please consider linking back to this post so that others can join in, too! 1. Love those photos, so cute.
Both my kids enjoyed going to school and I loved back to school. It is funny reading so many posts about sadness. Guess I am or was a bad mom, I just never felt sad. Yikes.

  4. My youngest headed back to school several weeks before classes started so she could participate in her sorority's recruitment. It's always sad to send a kid to college and missing them takes on a whole new level.
