Hookitty-Tookitty-Tah Children #Book

The kids and I enjoy finding new books. The boy has been through so many series and has inquire of me to find him a new series. I hope I'll find him a good one.

We all love reading. If it was up to me, I'd own my own library!

So it is always exciting to find new children books to add to their shelves. They read and tell me if they care for the story or not.

A new book we have is the Hookitty-Tookitty-Tah Children #Book.

"There was a king in a small town who didn't want a hassle, so he met the Yellow Dragon for a truce outside the castle.

"From this day on," the King decreed, "our kingdom feeds the Dragon: One thousand pies! One hundred Cakes! And then a bonbon wagon!"

Hookitty-Tookitty-Tah is about a wizard baker boy who uses his cooking magic to rid his town of a bullying dragon.

Maybe it's all the yummy foods that the kids are imagining they had spread out in front of them, or beating the big bad bully dragon, but they hailed it as an exciting read.

Hookitty-Tookitty-Tah is a 32-page hardcover children’s picture book illustrated by world-renowned Venezuelan artist, Hermann Mejia.

About the Author
Antonio Mugica is a musician and author, and also a successful executive in the technology business world, as the founder and CEO of the Smartmatic Group. His most recent children's book Hookitty-Tookitty-Tah was recognized with a Gold Medal from the prestigious Moonbeam Award for Best Book in the Spanish Language. Mugica has written poetry, fiction, children's fiction and screenplays. Hermann Mejia is a Venezuelan born / New York based plastic artist. Starting at a very early age as a self taught master drawer, he won his first award when he was seven years old. Many acknowledge him as a master watercolorist, and it is this technique what lies mainly behind his work in Hookitty. In 2003, he won the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Award.

I received a copy of this book that I've shared above.

    1. I wish I had a mystery library. I put the book in and it kinda disappears until I call for it again :)

  6. I like the name, it's fun. I couldn't own my own library, no one would ever see me again, I already know. :)
