Today has been rather trying. I feel these constant little anxiety attacks to the point where I just want out of my skin.
I've started praying and naming all my blessings. Just giving thanks for everything so that my mind doesn't falter into mucky tears and feebling.
Maybe today is just a bad day. I'm sure I'll feel better soon.
Biggest blessing: While cleaning, I found two cups of coins. It was a nice little net and I was able to get groceries for this week.
It should be a happy moment, but while in the car; another anxiety attack.
So the fact is we are poor as hell and while I'm studying to improve, I am trying to find a part time job to help with supplementing.
Pray that this works out.
Tomorrow will be Monday and the dancing will begin. I hope by then I'll be up to pep.

Just blog-hopped by, Colette, thanks for sharing the vid 'Strength Of A Woman' it's an upbeat song to inspire us all this Monday! I've been through the same situation on and off recently, and it's by God's grace I'm still standing. :) sharing the blessings and inspiration... happy blogging!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteAnd for visiting and sharing with me.
God won't give us more than we can bear, even when we think we can't handle anything more. Your strength as a godly woman shines through. My prayers are with you as you face each challenging day. Just love your song pick, so perfect! Keep your spirit soaring through the sound of music this week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cathy.
DeleteI do believe that if I haven't been depending on God, even in my weak and wavering faith, I wouldn't be standing. My mind somehow would have cracked.
*HUGS*
Thanks for your encouraging words and prayers.
Girlfriend, number one love love love your choice "Strength of Woman"! I didn't know he wrote a song about you? Girl, you are one of the strongest women I know. All your life you had to be strong because of all the trials and tribulations you had to endure, but you made sunshine, and now you're also one of the best mom's I've met. The sun rises & sets on your children as you tell us about your children we can read in between the lines. The challenges with the love of your life, but you always endure and make sure that your man knows he's got one one of the best "woman" he's ever met"! So you go girl cuz you keep tellin' the world and yourself ain't nobody gotta tell you different! YOU ROCK GIRL & that's just another reason I wanted you on my team! HUGS NOW LETS BOOGIE! Oh yeah now... shake that thang!!! Luv dancin' with your bad self! uh huh huh
ReplyDeleteThank you Dolly.

DeleteFun song! Hold tight girl and have a happy day.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn :)
DeleteSo touching Colette. You are always on my mind. Your trial takes me back through time, a time I was not sure if I would get through had it not been for God's grace. I remember so many times he had gone through everything and left us with nothing. He pawned all our appliances and jewelry; my sewing machine and wedding ring; left us with nothing, nothing to eat; wrote checks against my checking account till we were in so much red I thought I would never get out - and this is just part of it - then he told me he didn't have a gambling problem - I had the problem. Goodness, I pray so hard for you. He is with you.
ReplyDeleteSoon the pawning will begin probably.
DeleteOy.
I have strong hope of God's help. Most likely from prayers from everyone praying for me.
I cry when I can't and I fight on when I can.
Life can be rather interesting, but seems I usually expect this sort of thing eventually. Maybe why I'm not hit to obliteration.
Judy I'm so glad you are in a better place. I know you understand this fully!
Thank you for sharing. *HUGS*
Shaggy's got a great sound.
ReplyDeleteSending you a bazillion hugs, if I was there I'd dance with you and you wouldn't help but laugh...I haven't got an ounce of rhythm. Not an ounce, but I do love music. :)
See now when we meet I'll have to teach you rhythm :)
DeleteYou are a rock to me Rosey. Thank you. *HUGS*
Jamming! I like the tune. Didn't know about this song.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it Amanda.
DeleteI had anxiety attacks for years so I know what you're going through. Ask your church to lay hand on you and pray for you. If not, just ask God to take them from you and BELIEVE with all your heart that he does. The next time they try to come on you say NO! I'm healed by the Grace of God and you have no power over me Devil. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!

DeleteThank you very much for this.
I am indeed praying about them.
It is a journey right now I think, but oh for the faith.
This Shaggy song is so powerful. I love it Colette! Keep the faith and fight on. Life certainly has its ups and downs but with God's help we will overcome.
ReplyDeleteThank you Judy.
DeleteI am indeed trying and God is carrying.
