Healthy Thanks, Healthy Friends and The Blessing Of Children

There are so many things to give thanks for daily.

This week I'm so thankful to be back in strong health.  It was the flu. The mean flu. And I think because of all the stresses throughout the year, not eating or sleeping well. Sometimes I barely drank a glass of water all day. I'd get an hour or two of sleep. My lady friend also came at the same time bringing her cramps and exhaustion.  I think all those things combine just made the flu ten times worse when it hit me and that's why I got laid up in bed for five days.

So I am very thankful for good health again.

I'm thankful for my friend who came to help me shower, put on soup for me, made me tea, get me a hot rag for my hurting stomach, prayed for me, helped me with my many little big things.
Given me help when my husband choose to be away.

Thankful for my mother who stayed with me on the phone, called for help when I needed it, even though she is over the ocean. I know it breaks her heart that she couldn't be there to help me. I told her not to worry, just pray and be as she is.

For my children, who knew how to make their own breakfasts and snacks. They are 8 and 6 years old. They are so caring.
They prayed for me the whole time.
My daughter and son had their whole Sunday school class pray for me. What more can you ask? When your children is getting it at such a tender age.

It's a blessing. It's what I want most. That they love and learn and rely on God for everything.

They are little blessings.

This morning before school. my daughter ran screaming:"Mama! Don't close the door! (we were getting in the vehicle to drive to school). She brought me a flower. Isn't that the most beautiful thing? That's love.

Flowers Vs Flowers
Thankful for my bloggy friends and family that lifted me up in prayers constantly.

What are you thankful for this week?
