Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self. Cyril Connolly (1903 - 1974)

Journey To The Christmas Star

Sometimes I hear of new movies and I can't wait for them to come to our library so I can see them. Then you realize they weren't quite family friendly and you ended up watching it alone.

Journey To The Christmas Star is a wonderful movie that is perfect for the whole family.

I love the setting of faraway and magical land, where a young girl, whose name is Sonja, vows to help her king and went out to find the Christmas Star.

The star was cursed by the king many years earlier, when his daughter had stayed out late at night to get the star before it disappeared.

Now many years later, Sonja leaves to find the star before it's too late.  She also has to find the king's daughter who disappeared with the star that was cursed.

However as with all twists, there are many in her castle who do not wish for the princes to be found, and so Sonja finds that danger lurks.

We have a list of movies for Christmas with the family and Journey To The Christmas Star is being added to the list.

The movie has such beautiful scenery and pulls you in to feel as if real life the settings. This is movie is definitely a magical adventure.

The movie is safe for small children. No bad language or adult situations.

A courageous girl sets out on a hazardous journey to find the Christmas Star in order to free the kingdom from a curse and bring back a long lost princess, but some mighty foes try to stop her.  A Christmas adventure for the whole family set in a magnificent winter
