Happy - Even Though Joy Is Best - New Year!

I made it to another year. We made it. There were times when I wasn't sure about the next hour or day. God has surely given me the strength, and protected my mind from insanity in getting through some overwhelming times.
I should have a sigh of relief with faith in God, but like every soul, the pain lingers and so you wince, never knowing when something is going to irritate that sore spot. I carry on.

Maybe these situations are making me stronger, I do not know. But I am thankful just to be alive and to see and be able to recognize the blessings of each day.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24

Thank you for visiting and sharing with me blogger friends. I pray you and your family are having this day to be a celebration of life and hope.

Be happy.

You Look So Much Better When You Oh Oh Oh - 4Ms #Music

Joy is that blessing that shines through any pain or difficult circumstances that you are experiencing. Sometimes you even wonder why you are singing, smiling, even giggly.  Joy. It's a wonderful thing.

I know the holidays weren't great for everyone, but for most of us it was a blessing to be reminded of it's importance and to be with our families.

I'm still trying to figure out a kind of tradition for our family.

In my country we'd just come together, cook, eat, sing, dance and fall asleep. We don't exchange gifts. Usually no one has money for such things. Of course times have changed there in these years, but for most, it is still the same in getting together for meals and just hanging out.

So whether you are breathing a sigh of relief that the season is over, or still basking in all the memories, come enjoy hopping around with us this musical day!

What's one thing you loved / hated about Christmas this year?
Me: All was out of my hands and yet I saw God's blessing show up from people I have not even met to touch my family.
Hey...keep the noise down, kitten trying to sleep....
Welcome to today's music.  I hope Monday find you with a smile and music to begin your week with light steps.

You Are Awesome! - 4Ms #Musical Christmas

Now I know most of y'all will be traveling to see family or having family come see you. Family - we don't always get along right? But I tell my kids that it's worth trying to love and forgive family because no matter what, they are the ones who will always remember who you are, even after you are dead and gone.

Now it ain't easy forgiving some people. And I've learned that it's easier to forgive some peeps when they are NOT around you. When you have to be around someone every damn day, resentment and hatred can build up more than the fire to forgive.

But for your sake, your peace, your happiness, it is better to try.

Usually they don't even care that you have them up in your heart. Really sometimes they don't even KNOW! So what's the point eh?

But whatever happens. I want to share these videos with you and hope that you will find peace inside, knowing your worth as you go forth into the space and arms of family.

Merry Christmas to you my loves.

Contest - A Beauty - A Bully - An Outsider - Unlikely Friends....Forever

This is a must watch. The story line really pulled the movie together and keeps us the viewer interested in the outcome. Definitely not your normal bully drama.

It is rare that a bully will befriend the person they bullied, but somehow this plot had it working successfully. The movie goes in depth with most of the issues with bullying today. Bullying is never cut and dry and I love that this movie took on the different grey areas, so that we can really understand more about the reality of bullying.

I really loved how the plot unfolded and I hope more kids will get to see this movie. I might even recommend it to our school. Especially with the recent happenings of a child bullying my 6 year old daughter on the school bus.

This movie is not your typical anti-bullying drama. It's a very life-changing film that will keep our minds engage long after it has ended.

Pick one up and share with your family or school!

Bond Of Love #Book Tour + #WIN $25 Amazon GC

Motherhood is never easy, but at times it can be.  I see mothers shedding ponds as their children grow up and move on with their lives. I bawled when my kids first began school. So how am I going to handle them going away?
I guess I have all these years to prepare bit by bit right? But I supposed it will not be easy even as the day arrives.

Have you had to let go of a child for adulthood? Have you thought of how you'll handle letting go of a child?

Join us in the Bond Of Love #Book Tour + #WIN $25 Amazon GC
As a picturesque mother and wife, forty-one year old Avery Richards seems to have it all. Married to a successful veterinarian named Noah and mother to a spunky daughter named Kara, her life is far from awful but she is stuck.

With the recent move of their daughter, who has just flown the coop for college, this story examines the deep and often-tumultuous bond between mother and child and the lengths we are willing to go to, as mothers, to sacrifice our own happiness for the ones we love.

As we watch Avery walk through her ‘new’ way of daily life, without her ambitious and stubborn child around to mother any longer, we are given a very unique opportunity to tip toe in the front row of their lives, from three very separate views. We will see life as it plays out through her mature and motherly eyes, through Kara’s young and sheltered heart, and then through ‘someone else’s eyes’ that has a vested interest in them both.

As Avery’s well-hidden web of lies come crashing down in an unexpected way, her secrets that she’s safeguarded for years will threaten to rip her peaceful world apart, as well as the world of the ones she loves most. As readers, we will watch how ONE single choice can alter everything. Each character will then be forced to examine what the true meaning of love and forgiveness means to them.

Every gamut of emotion will be explored: humor, sadness, love, joy, betrayal, hate, and forgiveness. Bond of Love will leave you pondering the age-old question: How well do YOU actually know the ones you love most?
