Spoil The Pet - Spare The Floor - Neater Feeder Makes It Possible!

Do you own any pets? Did you gift them anything this year?

I remember when we first started talking about getting a pet for our family. I was all for the dog, but my husband was more interested in cats and only cats. He does not like dogs. I love dogs, but I figured a cat would be okay too.

We decided to wait and see how the kids would feel as they got older. They seem to like the cat idea and when our neighbor's cat became pregnant and two of the kittens survived, it seemed to be perfect timing and setting to get pets for our family.

I researched and asked tons of questions about having kittens. We got to visit with the kittens when they were born, up until we were able to take them home after about about six weeks.

Getting kittens is almost like bringing home a newborn baby. They seem to require much and little. I wanted them to have their first shots for good health for the future. Thankfully some dear friends of mine helped me with finances for their medical health.

Food, litter, toys and food bowls were meticulously selected.

I remember seeing the Neater Feeders in my research and wanted to get the kittens one so badly, but I just did not have the budget for it. I have finally been given the chance to review one of these great pet dishes for our Christmas Pet Edition Giveaway, and I'm so happy for the kitties.

I'm not even sure which of them should get it. I figured, I'd put food and water in and either one of them can use it. They like to switch it up anyways, even though I think the boy brother is a kind of bully to his sister. He'll push her away from her bowl and she often acquiesced and sit to the side. I do not like this, so I separated their bowls. I think it helped just a bit but not as much a I'd hoped.

The Neater Feeder is really neat and works great in reducing the mess on my floors! I cannot tell you how many times these rambunctious little kittens have spilled EVERYTHING all over the floors! Sometimes it's so frustrating when I have so much else going on in my day!

It got to a point I tried putting their food and water in a little box, that did not help and I even placed them on towels to help with spills!
I rarely believe anything I see in advertisements, so to have a product that actually does what it says, is simply wonderful! It's a very good design that really works.  The stainless steel bowls are easy to clean and the unit has rubber anti-skid pads to keep sturdy on the floor.

The Neater Feeder is very easy to clean, looks very nice in my home and you get to choose the size and color for your pets.
No set up is required unless you want to add the extensions to the legs. Those are really easy!
And of course even the box is useful for play :)!
The kittens are adjusting and swapping their bowls, but so far things are going good and I've decided that I will love to have a second Neater Feeder.
Admit it: This is stylish compare to my DIY cardboard box to hold the little bowls! And they've grown so much too!
I also received few packets of Zymtastic Pet Stain & Odor Destroyer. That was a sweet extra touch and very much appreciated. Pet odor is a big problem now and I'm trying to find the right products that will work great for our family. Especially me and my allergies!

  3. We have always loved our cats. My hubby doesn't like dogs and sometimes my hours are ridiculous so I can't always walk one. He sure wouldn't!! Love these feeders. They are very practical.

    1. They are definitely practical. Creative minds right.
My hubs don't care for dogs.
And well as he likes cats, he still wont help with the potty at all.

I'm still wondering about my choice in having them.

  4. We have a dog - a blue heeler/beagle mix. I really like the looks of that neater feeder. Our dog is not too messy when she eats but right now we are dog-sitting for a relative and their dog leaves a big mess every time she gets a drink.

  10. I definitely like the neat feeder. My dog always has an issue with any dish holders because her collar & tags hit it and she doesn't like the sound of it. THis might be a good alternative - and no mess!

    1. The height would be a good fit to help with the collar issue I think.
I hope you do find a good solution and even try one of the Neater feeders.
