Words: Life And Death - #Music

Yes this song...

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one, if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you

And I am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all

And I will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you

And I will swallow my pride
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying goodbye

Say something, I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
And anywhere I would've followed you (Oh-oh-oh-oh)
Say something, I'm giving up on you

Say something, I'm giving up on you
Say something...

“Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . ."”
― C.S. Lewis, The Four Loves

  2. Oh that song... my sister-in-law in GA just lost her husband and this song was playing the day he passed. She cries so much when it's on that I have to leave the room or I'll start it too. She was one of the very lucky ones though..44 years and he was DEF her soul mate.

    It's a beautiful song.

    1. Good Lord. I can only imagine her heart. So sad. But so beautiful to have a love like that.
      Thanks for sharing Rosey.

  3. When I first heard this song I never through she would do something like this, but guess it's a real girly song romantic & all. Being a man guess I'm more of a rock & roll fan, but it is showing off their talented voices. Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Love the C.S. Lewis quote -- that "aha moment" when two people discover they are kindred spirits!

  8. This is such a beautiful, heartfelt song that I can relate to at this very moment. Just this afternoon I was listening to it and felt the words so deeply that I began to tear up. :(
