Thriving And Doing What I like - #Music

Today was a good day. Service was good. We always learn something new about Christ and even better when we are together. I gave them a dollar each for the offering plate. I want them to learn about that too.

Did y'all have a good Easter?

I hope you did!
Casting Crowns
Ours was simple and okay. As I write, my kids are watching HOP and eating ice cream treats.

Me: I'm doing laundry and getting read to do more hair.

Our Nail Moon gave us a theme for today: Theme is "little bit country & a little bit rock & roll!
Here in this worn and weary land
Where many a dream has died
Like a tree planted by the water
We never will run dry

So living water flowing through
God, we thirst for more of You
Fill our hearts and flood our souls with one desire

Just to know You and to make You known
We lift Your name on high
Shine like the sun, make darkness run and hide
We know we were made for so much more than ordinary lives
It's time for us to more than just survive
We were made to thrive

Into Your word, we're digging deep
To know our Father's heart
Into the world, we're reaching out
To show them who You are

Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable
Love unstoppable, anything is possible

And the ever adorable Blake is singing What I like :) So romantic

  1. Happy Easter Colette!
I'm doing laundry right now too.
I know what you mean about being together. I enjoyed the day with my husband and son, was glad I got to chat with my daughter away at college, and missed being with our extended family today. Happy Easter

  3. Our Easter weekend was quietly spent between the two of us, but it was nice. The weather was gorgeous. Here in the early a.m. hours, I have the washer and dryer going. House chores have to be done, but it's nice to listen to music as I get these things done and I love yours! Have a tunetastic week, my friend!

  7. Me too.... Silly me I was only looking at the apples... lol but I sniffed Blake Shelton out. Love him... love the video too LOL The first one is new to me, but definitely cool. So happy your Easter was nice. With all the drama we've had the last few months I was happy to get a quiet holiday & some quality time with hubby & myself. YOU ROCKED THE HOUSE GIRLFRIEND! Hugzzzzzzzzzzzzz Man, everyone must have gone out today or was too tired from the holiday. Hardly anyone came out to boogie. LOL

Glad you had a quiet time with your loves Dolly. Sometimes quiet is best than having to always host.

It's normal for bloggers to take time away for their family :)

  8. I don't know these songs, but then again, I'm not a country music fan so it's no surprise.
