JCPenny Back To School Eyeglass #Giveaway

When I was  a little girl I had eye surgery. I can still smell the hospital and remember the surroundings well even now. The doctor told me, I'd be able to see well after a week and that never happened.

I live with it now.

I try not to worry about my children needing eye glasses or surgery. I would be thankful if they don't and we'd all handle it if they do.

Life has a way of dishing out the uncertainties.

Do you wear glasses or contacts?

When it comes to kids having glasses, they really should have something they enjoy wearing. Confidence is good with back up!

I love the handles on those above. I think I'd like to see how I look in a red one.

Welcome to the JCPenny Back to School Eyeglass Giveaway!

I remember as a child when I noticed that eye glasses were becoming more acceptable. At least in other countries, and, I wished I was away from my native people so I didn't always feel so ugly, as I was often told and jeered and criticized in my glasses.

Now I have come a long way and just want to get  a new frame on my glasses :)
Oh and find one that actually fits my face like Katharine's cutie below in Blue.

  1. I have worn contacts, but I'm not a fan. I'm supposed to wear glasses, but again, not a fan, hahaha I wear them in the car to drive (that's where my glasses live, in the car, lol) but walk around half blind the rest of the time. Dumb, I know, but I got my grandfather's big nose (thanks, Gramps. :) ) and glasses always rub me the wrong way. I'm too scared (and probably too old now anyway) to get the corrective surgery. This is a great giveaway. If we had an optical center in our JcP. I'd enter in a heartbeat!

    1. If I had a choice I probably wouldn't either and I think your stumbling around is awesome better than mine :)

Took me so many years to get used to wearing glasses. It brings such bad memories.
