We Don't Talk Anymore - 4Ms #Music

This week is a hurting one.  Every time this one week rolls around, I wonder how I used to go to work at the office before I moved.

Speaking of which, I really need a job. My glasses are still being held up by a bagel tag!!!

Just have to keep moving forward best as I can though.

I didn't go to church today. I got up and got the kids ready and they left with their father. They all came back glowing, so I'm assuming it was a great time without me there.
I think it was a  good decision.
I get really tired of the Sunday morning arguments and walking into church with a troubled heart.  Of course I know those arguments are spiritual darts to keep us away from fellowship, but peace is better, especially right now.

Right now I just need some morphine and since I can't have any, I'll just let the music play on.

Used to think that life was sweet
Used to think we were so complete
I can't believe you'd throw it away

Used to feel we had it made
Used to feel we could sail away
Can you imagine how I feel today?

Well, it seems a long time ago
You were the lonely one
Now it comes to letting go
You are the only one
Do you know what you've done?

It's so funny how we don't talk anymore
It's so funny, why we don't talk anymore?
But I ain't losing sleep and I ain't counting sheep
It's so funny how we don't talk anymore
Oh, we don't talk, ooh

Well, it really doesn't matter to me
I guess your leaving was meant to be
It's down to you now, you wanna be free

Well, I hope you know which way to go
You're on your own again
Don't come crying to me when you're the lonely one
Remember what you've done

  1. Awwww Sweetie! I wish we lived closer so I could come over and give you a big hug!!! I'd say I like the song, but I do it's kind of neat to dance too, but the words are depressing. Do you think maybe hubby was missing you while you were away and he was hurting, so now he wants to hurt you? Sometimes men can be such babies so maybe you could just ignore it, and talk about good things, happy things. Give him a big hug... just because! No reason and see what he does! Sometimes that works with my hubby... smooches too! He'll say what's that for? I'd say, "Just Because"! He's say you're silly and it breaks the ice every time! Good luck baby girl! Hope it works. HUGS!

    1. Oh I just found a song from that era on the billboard 40 :)

And I'm not sure what you are talking about hubs and hurting haha.

The hurting is from me having these awful period cramps. Ew. I just didn't say it outward. Hence why I need morphine :)

But yes men can be babies and hugs are nice too :)

  2. Oh my this brings back so many memories love this song. I so need to go download it.

  3. Collette, I was really missing not having the time to play with all on Monday. Now I come to find you sad. May the peace of God which passes all understanding be with you.

    1. Thank you dahlin'
      I've missed having you here!
I"ll be fine soon. Just a physical thing most of all.

  4. Hope things get better for you soon. Great tune and I remember it well. All the best to you!

    1. Thanks Debbie, That pain just last a week or so.

  5. cool tune thanks for shareing it.

  6. The wonderful thing about faith, is that when you stick to it, miraculous, wonderful things happen. Even the darkest of days are turned around. And hearts are restored. And of course I wouldn't be a good Bible thumping friend if I didn't put out the scripture to back tthat up. :) I have faith, and I know you do too. Your restoration of heart is coming, I just know it. <3 Deuteronomy 30:3-13 - "God, your God, will restore everything you lost... To me, restoring means it will be as if you never lost it... I wish that for you and your family.

    1. *HUGS* I love you Rosey.
Thank you. I love Bible thumping friends.
The word is what keeps our walk firm and forward and hopeful.

  7. So sorry that this week wasn't a great one...
and I hate that you didn't want to go to church because of the drama... that is no fun at all... hope you get to feeling better soon.

    1. It's a monthly thing that week thing. Oy. I guess it's just how our bodies are eh.

And yes on the church thing...but everything works out eventually right :)
