I definitely remember celebrating my son's first birthday. I baked him a coconut cake :) He had quite a few family members there because we went to visit his paternal grandparents around that time.
Oh he was a doll. Such a sweet happy boy! They want of nothing then, but love and more love. Ugh. sometimes I feel like I don't give enough.
The boy is growing up now and I hope I can throw him another party sometime.
